Re: Reading Player

Hampshire Royal Why the oxf*rd is the Burnley match not on the list of available matches on Reading Player?

From the OS, "For Player subscribers trying to access commentary - been told there are some central issues with the feed. We will update you ASAP"

Not that that's much help...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Pepe the Horseman Anyone know if the Brighton game will be on in the St8s?

beIN Sports (who hold the US TV rights for the Championship) do not show it on their schedule. Sunday's schedule is full of French football - mon dieu!

Re: What will you remember from this season...

That's a relief. Quite frankly I think I had started to smell it out here in Iowa (or was that just the general agricultural byproducts???)

Re: Reflections

I've only been following club football since 2002/3 and watched the second leg of the play-off semi and thought eh whatevs --disappointment to be sure, but it's clear this is a club that has its act together and is going places Which turned out to be more or less an accurate read, but then what lit...

Re: What will you remember from this season...

Finally watching a match at the Madjeski - in fact, 2 matches. The unfortunate Watford loss (widely considered to be the low point of the season) and the following week's win over Donny.

Re: An Exile Comes to Reading

We'll be spending the week between the 2 matches in the Lake District, fell-walking, etc.

You've listed some good ideas in your posts - I appreciate the thoughtful answers.

Re: Millwall

royal67 Two close matches with them last season..... 1-1 with Manset scoring in the 83rd minute......

Is Manset going to be on as a sub then, scoring in the 83rd minute? Or are you thinking the Reading physios will have worked a miracle and gotten him into true match fitness?

An Exile Comes to Reading

Mrs. JGRIowa and I will be in England this fall and plan to attend Reading matches, whether home or away, whilst we are ‘in the neighborhood’. Any suggestions for must-see or must-do when we are in Reading? I would appreciate your ideas on the interesting and off-the-beaten-track little gems in Berk...

Re: Feeling relaxed about Wembley

Like all of us I am really looking forward to the final and what is arguably the biggest annual game in World football. No other game has a winner takes all £90M prize. However, although on the day no doubt I will be nervous, I do feel surprisingly relaxed about the final outcome. I have not been t...
