Re: Squad for 2025-2026

I am definitely glass half full but it’s hard to make the case that Wareham would go to Exeter unless they are paying him more or offering a longer term contract. Him and Craig would be big losses.

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

I suppose I’d push that question back and ask what do you expect any new owner to have done in 5 weeks. It’s easy to forget that we actually have an owner who understand EFL and league one - most new owners wouldn’t have a clue. And there is also the sheer human effort of pulling off the takeover an...

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

I have been and remain a big fan of Couhig. However as we’ve heard so much from him (which is again a good thing) there are some questions that are bubbling up either in relation to what he has said- or indeed what he hasn’t said. Some thoughts 1) Couhig prides himself on his openness but as he hims...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Sorry I’m being slow, what does this mean? It means, what’s the source for the statement. There’s a lot of random statements being thrown around about players signing but no factual evidence in the media or on the club website to back the “statements” up. EPK has got some previous things correct so...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Elm Park Kid I was told yesterday that they are expecting everyone to sign back up apart from mBengue who is already gone and Wareham who is 90% gone. Maybe one other.

Any idea where Warehsn is heading then? Am surprised he would look elsewhere given our lack of forward options currently

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

JJ said existing players have re-signed so why haven’t they been announced. League cleared O’Conner and club keen to get positive news out there before season ticket deadline. So why not announce?

Re: Rob Couhig - New Interview

I don’t think Couhig has an issue with the BBC (he is happy to be interviewed by south today). His issue is with Dellor and I think in particular Dellors willingness to blur what he was hearing via Howe and present it as fact. Dellor even said on twitter he wasn’t sure who the bigger villains were b...

Re: CONFIMRED… ish

I am starting to get concerned. If we want to make a real impact then we really need it over the line by end of week so we can start sorting contracts out etc. I think it’s either for to be another extension or a suspension. You’d think someone would have been tipped off if it had all gone through.

Re: TAKEOVER CONFIRMED TO HAVE NOT YET HAPPENED BUT MIGHT SOON

I don’t think anyone totally ITK but I do think plenty of people know snippets. If you bring these together I think most likely scenario is 1) Couhig thought it was over the line and probably went public a little too early. 2) planning issue came to light which complicates things re car park. Couhig...

Re: International postponements

I suppose there must come a point where you have to balance out losing players with the fact that you’re storing up a load of midweek fixtures. Wouldn’t surprise me if we actually play Shrewsbury to avoid a pile up

International postponements

I know the rule is that you have to have 3 regular players called up in order to postpone a league one game. Bindon and Savage qualify. Not sure CBC or Tuma do? So was it Stockport who got the postponement of this weeks fixture or us? Reason I ask is that next internal weekends games look like they ...

Did this get under the line before new embargo struck. The announcement said subject to ratification as it was the weekend. I know he started on Tuesday but so do trialists

Re: New manager rumours and speculation

So my take as follows Wilder was about to sign but got cold feet when he realised that embargo being lifted wasn’t a sure thing Agreed to sign on basis of embargo being lifted. Will sign if no one comes in between now and then Nathan Jones lined up if above falls through Meanwhile Bowen on compassio...
