Re: Realistic January CF targets

Mention on Twitter (is that your account Brogue?) that we have enquired after Keane If we did get him and Santos in I think we’d be in great shape tbh Would be very hapy with that. Maybe a Left Back too but not sure who would be available. Thoughts on: Josh Edwards - Charlton Jake Bidwell - Coventr...

Re: Ricardo Santos

He’s made only 1 sub appearance for Swansea. On 22 Nov in a 3-0 defeat at Bristol City, hasn’t been seen in a Swansea squad since so would presumably confirm that he is now suffering with the aforementioned hip injury. Not suggesting he is injury prone, just that his apparent lack of a proper pre-s...

Re: Realistic January CF targets

Saw on X someone suggest we should look at Matt Godden on loan from Charlton.

Not the target man striker we want but knows where the goal is. Would be a good backup for Marriot

Re: Realistic January CF targets

If we can bring in a player like Jason Roberts we could aim for playoffs, maybe higher. Remember the way he used to turn players, don't think we've ever had a player come in that has had such an immediate impact before or since. I'd like to see us sign this kind of player, bring them in for Ritchie ...

Re: Rival Watch

I got 50 quid each way 250/1 on Reading finishing top. (Places 1-2-3)

Remember the bounce when McDermott took over from Rogers, this league is so weak this season, if we can get our act together under LR its worth a punt.

Re: Players at Reading who you had completely forgotten about

Matejovsky comes to mind, though I never saw him play for us in our first time in the Prem. Going back further: There was a ginger haired fella (not Sidwell), who played around the end of Elm Park period, Welsh I believe. And I’ll see your Rashawn Scott and raise you the other Scott (from Wycombe, ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

WestYorksRoyal Uncanny parallels with Selles' first season now.

I was thinking that. Camara looked like a superstar in that Millwall game.

Don't think he's put in a 5/10 performance or better since

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

Ahmed looks quality. Unfortunately for him Abrefa has also been a standout performer so far. Stephens has made some great saves and very quick off his line. Ehibhatioman has made some tidy touches up top. Definitely better than anything I've seen from O'Mahoney so far unfortunately. Doyle is very si...

Re: Confirmed - Kamari Doyle

Funnily enough when we played Crawley last season I mentioned how the last time we'd played them away we'd signed Hope Akpan and that if we were to do that again I'd hope they'd sign Kamari Doyle.

He's one of those players that can take the ball on the turn and drive forward, much like Ben Elliot.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Lincoln City (a)

Abrefa and Stickland have been outstanding.

Savage really good.

Elliot and Camara really quiet for 30 minutes but have both grown into the game massively.

O'Mahoney might as well not be there.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Interesting news on the SSN this morning. probably nothing but. Eastleigh confirm they have accepted a club record fee from a league one club for forward Tyrese Shade Their previous record fee was 120K, so it's probably above Couhig's budget. I'd assumed it was us that paid that for Brett Williams ...
