Re: Spurs friendly

Enjoyed that, thought Reading played really well. Defended well first half, took the game by the scruff in the last half hour or so. Should’ve had a penalty. A LOT of Spurs in the home end. Also, Van de Ven is a specimen There was always going to be loads of them in the SJM. It's not really a big d...

Snowflake Royal
WestYorksRoyal Shows our fanbase than we'd rather watch a friendly against a big team than games that actually matter. I'm not going today, I couldn't give 2 shits about it. Give me the league.

Or that loads of Spurs fans want to go to a local game and pretend to support Reading to do it.

Re: Spurs friendly

Armadillo Roadkill I'd say the Spuds are up there just behind Chelsea and Arsenal in terms of "supporters" around the Reading area. Expect a lot of people all around you who think their knowledge of and passion for football is much better than yours because they "follow" a PL side.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Still whilst we are waiting and constantly checking for news it does give me the chance to wonder whether CScott or Rupert Lowe are the worst thing on Twitter. It’s a pretty close run thing I see its got to the stage where someone is so bored they have set up a "positive" CScott account a...

tidus_mi2 My Dad supports both Reading and Spurs as well, so I'm sure the both of you truly understand suffering.

Have you considered the possibility that genome is your father?

Re: Pre Season games 2025/6

As the board's Spurs fan I am very happy with that. No wonder you were struggling with being on the board if you had Spurs to contend with. No different to Brobot being a United fan really, I'm still a Reading fan anyway, grew up across the street from Elm Park in fact. It's just my entire family i...
