Re: Hunt out.

I reckon we had as many in our 18 from last season as most teams in this division tbh. He chose not to include Dorsett and Rushesha who played last year as well Not discounting that Mbengue, Bindon and Knibbs were huge losses though The worrying thing is just how disjointed we look coming forward. ...

Re: Wycombe away

My first visit Saturday any advice on where to park , official car parks are full Some of the businesses in the industrial estate outside the ground offer up their car parks on match days. Think it's £5-£10 to park and is probably first come, first served, but I don't know for sure. Walk is less th...

Re: Club legend.

Anyone who played a decent role in both Championship winning seasons go down as club legends, imo. Both those teams are cemented in immortality. You'd then also be adding in your Shakas, Quinns, Lovells, Deaths, Fridays, etc... i politely disagree. shaun cumming played 36 times in the 11/12 season....

Re: Hunt out.

Again at the Former Players Q&A evening, Couhig said that he has a list of three managers to replace Noel if Noel went anywhere else. He said that, whilst he is still close with Ainsworth, Ainsworth isn't on that three-man list. Which three managers are on the list? Mourinho, Guardiola, and Anc...

Re: Good uses and bad uses of Liam Fraser

Good uses As cover for Wing when injured To be a deeper option that allows Wing to push forward As part of a double pivot when defending a lead or against high calibre opposition Bad uses As an attacking or creative midfielder when Doyle and Elliott are available. Discuss. Yeah, everything you said.

Re: BFTG - AFC Wimbledon

I’ve no huge issue with Wing player that quarter back type role, but he was the worst culprit for just whacking long balls forward yesterday. Teams know what is coming from him in this role now and set up for it At least if he is further forward and man marked that may free up space for someone els...

Re: MATCHWATCH : AFC Wimbledon (h)

Notwithstanding all the points already made, it seems that after 2 seasons, we still haven't learned how to play League 1 type football yet. We always struggle against well drilled, physical, direct teams. We can't play that way and we don't know how to counteract it.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

We all know we need a striker and a centre back. Hopefully both on permanent deals, so we can save the remaining loan spot for an unexpected opportunity that presents itself at the end of the window. I've been in two minds about Matt Ritchie coming in, but I'm not a big fan of Camara, so wouldn't be...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Thought I'd give this a little bump, since we're only two weeks or so away from the window closing. Squad as it stands on 15th August: GK: Pereira, Stevens, Norcott (on loan to Woking - 2 months) RB: Abrefa, Yiadom, Ahmed LB: Dorsett, Jacob , Garcia, Ryan CB: O'Connor, Kanu (on loan to Forest Green ...

If Willimas does come in then we do we need Ferguson too? One of them would definitely be blocking youh pathways.

Re: The Local Journo Thread

I agree the local journos need to seriously up their game - have we had a decent one since Charles Watts?

Rob Couhig has been very clear that he will fire anybody that leaks information though, so maybe they are towing the line a little bit. Don't want to piss off the club owner and get frozen out.

Re: New Owners - Redwood Watch

Apologies. More of a Wycombe budgetary model then. I just got sucked in by the exciting news, massive developments and watch this spaceness that has been going on. The idea that the club would not exist is preposterous. Firstly, where have you been the last two years, we were a biscuit from being g...

Hard to tell. Could have hit O'Mahony's arm, but looks more like it hit his back.

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

I thought O Mahony did ok. Not brilliantly certainly but ok. Nice assist for the Kyerewaa chance. Worked very hard, pressed well. Gave the cb a physical game What he isn’t is great in the air and the first touch is far from the best. He’s playing to deep imo, get him on tbe last man, not in that #1...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

It really looks like what it is a team of ex championship players against a bunch of loans and free transfers. This. Referee's been poor but we've been worse - we just offer no threat. Need a stirker to sign this week. It’s bigger than that. We create very little. Not like we’re fizzing balls or ac...

Burns had a shocking couple of minutes. Should have scored at one end, then gave away a silly corner at the other end and we concede.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Not a lot of goal threat. Did well defensively though.

Maybe Doyle will give us some fresh impetus in the second half.
