Re: MATCHWATCH : Wimbledon (a)

Thing is, we can be as good as you like going forward and scoring goals, but if we're reliably conceding at least 2 goals a game, we're making it so hard to get points. None of this defence are good enough for this level. Absolute joke. Sometimes it's like they've never played together before. Its ...

Re: Charlie Savage to Oxford

I really like Savage but yes agreed Also think like Knibbs if he wants to leave then we’ve a bit of a duty to support that given the last few years Agrees, he's been here 2.5 years, which is quite a long time in modern football and I would imagine part of the reason a 4 year deal was agreed was wit...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

Just seen the sky highlights, obviously delighted with the win with 2 clinical finishes but on another day it could have been so different, the one on one chance, a few decent saves by JP and an Eaves free header from 8 yards that he really should have done better with. They`re an out of form side ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (a)

Orient do have a knack for beating us don't they? They just close us down quickly all over the park and suddenly we can't pass, can't run and can't shoot. I don't know why it works so much better against us than when they pay anyone else, but you can't argue that it's effective.

Re: Randell Williams confimred

I'll confess, I was really unsure when we signed him initially. However, he's been pretty solid in every game I've seen him in and yeah, I think this is great news to have him for longer. He's grown into his position even in the short time he's been here, he's earned that extension.

I'm glad we haven't put a lid on it, with the sponsorships. Really make sure our bank account gets a good filling. I couldn't bare it if another deal turned flakey.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

It's starting to look like Richardson's more direct approach is more effective for some players, like DK and Kelvin E. DK finally getting the ball at his feet and really running at defenders, reminds me of Kebe just as he started to come good. Kelvin E really putting his body about a lot more now. N...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h)

I'm surprised at the negativity here, I actually thought we played quite well. I actually thought we looked a lot better than we had done for a little while. Players getting on the ball and actually driving forwards, instead of just passing it sideways when their path was obstructed by a defender. W...

I can't help but let the excitement bubble over. I hope nobody loses their bottle and that this one doesn't fizz out to nothing. Would be a shame to see this one pop.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game - 24/25 page 225 onwards

Cant say they are a team I have ever given much thought about. I was thinking this exact thing too. Seems odd that they have such distain for us, whereas until the last couple of years, I don't think I remember us ever interacting and they're not a club I have any strong feelings about in either di...

Re: Dai's final f*** you

I've been thinking for quite a while now, that if you have a good season in League 1 and don't get promoted, Championship clubs will come hunting for your stronger players, especially if they're contracts are up. Most decent League 1 players can at least be comfortable in the Championship at a mid-...

Was there ever a more "Reading" way to end the 90 minutes than that? Like if that had been Oxf*rd I'd have had a good giggle about it.

Does anyone know anything about his footballing style? What are we looking at here, big strong lads, difficult to beat? Fast paced, short passing? Direct, attacking play?

Sutekh Bloody AI

Liam Fraser has an undefined knock to his undefined, he is expected to be undefined for an undefined period.

So that’s that clarified at last then.

I undefined my undefined once, and it was agony. I feel for the guy.

Re: The inevitable poll for the next Reading manager

A bit "out there" with this one, but last season, we played Burton at home and despite them not really having that much quality in their team, they played some really decent football. I know in the end we won comfortably, i thought they looked quite exciting. Looks like Mark Robinson was t...

Re: Hunts gone

That's a shame, I felt things were improving and it's hard to see us attracting someone who would provide more. I can't help but remember someone on here when Noel got the job, saying words to the effect of "this means it's the beginning of the end for Noel at reading", as it's inevitable ...
