Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Tbh based on recent rumours would almost be happy to just tell Kelvin he is primarily a CF and have him and MoM. We’ve plenty of wingers and maybe if Ritchie joins even more

Though I reckon we’ll dig up a free agent of some sort to be a bench option in the next couple of weeks

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Difficult to say at this stage tbh We do still have JP, Wing and Savage so expect them to perform as well (better in Savages case) Agreed out CBs will be weaker. Bindon and Mbengue were phenomenal for this level Definitely more options in midfield and attack. Fraser could be a very shrewd signing. L...

Re: Speculationish Tyler Robert’s and Jack Marriott

Yep there really ain’t loads of obvious options at a price we’re likely to pay Hunt has to get the best out of what we’ve got. Tbh the likes of Marriott probably would make a great deal of difference to the side anyway Reckon a few may come available towards the end of the window but unlikely to get...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

I thought O Mahony did ok. Not brilliantly certainly but ok. Nice assist for the Kyerewaa chance. Worked very hard, pressed well. Gave the cb a physical game What he isn’t is great in the air and the first touch is far from the best. He’s playing to deep imo, get him on tbe last man, not in that #10...

Or something like that. I’m assuming O Connor will be fit for next Saturday

He`s out for 2 or 3 weeks, meaning Christmas.

Fair enough

Forgot Garcia again…

Put him LB and Ahmed CB. Ryan RB

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

Anyone who was sub Saturday can certainly start. Ahmed and Ryan. Osho if possible. I’d give Stickland another game Stevens Ahmed Stickland Burns Ryan Fraser Sackey Doyle Osho O Mahony Kelvin Gk, Jacob, Camara, Elliot, Abrefa, Okine Peters, Borgnis Or something like that. I’m assuming O Connor will b...

Re: Injury watch 2025/26

Could be any number of things though concussion would be the obvious one. May have been heat related, bit of a virus etc

He was playing well before so a slightly odd one

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

I think things will come good, we’ve the basis of a good side We certainly matched Huddersfield pretty well throughout I’m concerned about the lack of chemistry and creativity in the final third. I’m also not too happy with the subs made today. Need to be a bit smarter there But some good signs amon...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

windermereROYAL Burns looked very good, but lets hammer him for 2 misjudged headers.

Problem is they were 2 of the most decisive actions of the game….

He was great for the rest I thought though

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Frustrated more than worried tbh There was some very good stuff today. Pressing was good. Fraser first half, Elliott 2nd. Defence generally good If burns had made it 1-0 we’d have been happy with that first 70 or so. Felt the subs messed us up, and not for the first time with Hunt. Once you take O M...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

It really looks like what it is a team of ex championship players against a bunch of loans and free transfers. This. Referee's been poor but we've been worse - we just offer no threat. Need a stirker to sign this week. It’s bigger than that. We create very little. Not like we’re fizzing balls or ac...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Really poor effort from the minute Burns missed that header

Poor subs from Hunt. And in general that last 20 was awful

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Impressed by most of the new signings. Dan K and Fraser in particular look like they have a lot of potential. There is the obvious issue though - for all the good work - 1 shot. Need a signing there. We do, but just throwing signings at it won’t nec help. It’s the lack of interplay and understandin...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town (h)

Encouraging half but not clicking at all in the final third. They all look handy enough players but chemistry not there yet

Need to get more shots in etc

Midfield and defence looked solid
