Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Right so the wareham mystery is solved. We apprently only offered him a contract so we could get compensation. We offered a really shit contract knowing he wouldn’t sign it. Which was better than releasing him on a free. He was deemed by hunt, as surplus to requirements. That's pretty cold It has t...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Can’t remember but did some of those going sign up in that little golden period when we signed Smith, Wing, Savage and Knibbs? Maybe they actually were being paid a decent wage which we can’t now match

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Be disappointed about all 3. I like Craig but do think the love in is a bit overdone at times Like both Kelvin and Wareham as well but are replaceable Where are these Meite, Kelvin, Ovie pics? Haven’t seen any of them on Twitter Is a bit nuts how people forensically check these vids for players thou...

Elm Park Kid WiFi has signed back up.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Thinking about this week's signings of Clarke, Ryan and Stickland, I think they all need to have a decent role in the squad this season if we want to operate smarter. Before his ACL, Ryan was very highly rated and surely is in with a shout at our full back positions. Maybe we should sign a first ch...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

That’s the internet for you. It’s not like anyone checks birth certificates, a typo on one site just spreads as others copy and paste. It would be odd if they had the same age and different DOB. This is happening again, this time will Lewis Wing. Lots of sites say birthday is 23 June but Reading si...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Don’t think I’ve seen Ryan but I strongly suspect he was being lined up for first team rb duties before his injury

I liked Clarke the times I saw him and he looked capable of playing championship

Big question for both will be how they have recovered from those injuries

Re: Rumour - the Yak back

It's in a position where we have next to nothing, so perhaps worth the risk. I saw some fans on Twitter talking up Rinomhota, when I'm not convinced he'd get into our team. If I’ve understood correctly he was utterly underwhelming at CM for them, switched to RB and then won players pots. Cardiff fa...

Re: Ex Royals

Just read the Oviedo story and it’s one that I’m sure we can empathise with, sounds like they were very close to being killed off on a number of occasions Pauno was an odd one. He kind of lost the plot eventually and think dealing with Dai’s shitshow was too much for him understandably That team he...

Re: Rumour - the Yak back

Neither of them were suffering on the back of a serious ACL injury which is known for affecting player’s careers for the worst. Meite barely played in his last two Reading years due to injury and his lack of form at Cardiff probably suggests he has declined as a result of it. We wouldn't be talking...

What about Rotherham?

Think there and Luton were the two worst places I’ve been with football
