Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

finally! people are waking up this. been saying it for months. the moment we lost Smith Knibbs Mbengue the high press was no longer feasible. Christ, even Wareham could play that role but we let him go too for what? to be replaced but a 30+ year old non mobile short arse striker who has barely play...

Re: The worst performance since........

There have been many that were much worse than on Tuesday night. 3 that come to mind:- THAT Oxford game already mentioned (my in-laws lived about 400 yards from the Manor Ground and were OTT sympathetic after the game). Reading 0 Bristol Rovers 6 (the only good thing to come out of the game was the...

Re: Rinomhota CONFRIMED

Called up by Zimbabwe for AFCON. Presumably means we won't see him at the SCL until the New Year now. Was probably expected and may explain why he hasn't seen more minutes. Pleased for him, but the sooner this damn competition is moved out of the middle of most European league seasons the better fo...

The Fleetwood loss at home a couple of seasons ago

The 3-0 home loss to Wigan after they'd very recently gone into administration was an awful one as well. Played us completely off the park.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

I do find the conclusion that this dreadful performance means Hunt should have stayed/wasn’t to blame an odd take. He basically signed half of this side and we’re trying to recover from the mess he left Still can’t get my head round how bad we were, esp second half. But also just exactly what LR wa...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

And that's what happens when you lump the ball up to a 5'8" striker against two giant centre backs. Eventually the ball comes straight back at you at the opposition get a chance and score. Brainless.

WestYorksRoyal Second half abysmal. Stop giving away so many soft fouls.

Stop being conned by diving Peterborough players, referee.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Peterborough United (h)

Attacker dives in the box, and they get a yellow. Defender dives near their own corner flag under minimal pressure, free kick.

Refs fall for it multiple times every week.

Re: Scottish premier league.

Not a good start for Wilfried Nancy at Celtic. Loses to title rival Hearts and becomes a bit of a meme messing around on the bench with a mini tactic board a la Amorim at Grimsby. Also said the following in his post match interview: “I’m not about losing or winning, I’m about having a good performan...

Re: Ex Royals

So while I do think there's been a lot of fuss about the quality of the new signings this Summer, Wellens strikes me as someone who never really got a chance yet in the small number of games I saw (EFL trophy admittedly) looked as good as players that were kept. Certainly looks like he should have ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

For my part, what makes me call him “low effort” is that he never seems to chase the ball and more often than not you will see the ball drift past him without so much as a flinch towards it. . This just isn’t close to being true imo I appreciate we all see different things when we watch a game, and...
