Re: The window closes at 7pm on Monday 2nd February

Colchester journo reporting it'll only happen if they can get a replacement in. Now the obvious question is why wait to the last day when no one will have time to sort something like that out  Hope Reading will go back for him in the summer. Probably because they weren't planning on going for...

Re: The window closes at 7pm on Monday 2nd February

We can still make loans out to no. League after today can’t we? Wonder if we’ll be stuck with MoM for the season - does seem that way. Weird he isn’t even playing u21 games I mean, why would we block an Academy player getting U21 games for a someone else's player who is a failed senior signing? He ...

Re: Charlie Savage to Oxford

Happy to sell for a good price and £1.5m with sell on seems fair. Would like to see someone else come in to replace. Rino hasn't featured and we don't know what his circumstances are, while isn't Fraser injured too? Fraser is fine, was an unused sub on Saturday but came on against Stockport and Ori...

blythspartan He is set to sign for Mansfield. I guess we can’t compete financially with other EFL clubs.

Lol. Yes, that's exactly what this means.

Re: Randell Williams and Andy Rinomhota

Rino would presumably be signed as a DM - plenty of cover at RB as has been said. This would suggest Fraser is out for a while.

Williams I would see as temporary cover for two positions with a load of injuries around at the moment, but with a chance to impress.

christ, you lot really have been brainwashed by Couhig haven't you? this is a disaster of an appointment - the cheapest available option. We are now in a very real battle against relegation. He will be gone by February/March How has anyone been 'brainwashed' - we've heard nothing from Couhig specif...

Re: The inevitable poll for the next Reading manager

If even the AI is accurate I’ve no particular issue with this. I think we’re way too lightweight at the moment, esp up front. But it’d need different players to come in from what we have currently This. Direct football is greater than possession based tedium anyway. Just as long as it isn't hoofbal...

scumbag
Brogue Peter O'Rourke reckons Leam Richardson is now the man. :|

8% win rate at his last job as Rotherham boss.

Over the last 24 games of an already woeful Championship campaign. Doesn't sound like a fair crack to me.

Did win promotion from Leage One with Wigan.

Mid Sussex Royal
Royalcop Feel very saddened by this; so wanted it to work for Noel but think it’s probably the right decision, or rather that the owners had to take action at this point.

Open training session tomorrow could be a bit awks.

Selles in?

He's got a job in Spain somewhere.

WestYorksRoyal Confirmed by the club. I'd stay off Twitter. A necessary decision, but not one to celebrate.

Pretty much where I am with it. Sad that it didn't work out, but it had to happen.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

Yes, I think so. Negativity breeds negativity and toxicity. We've seen how much better the club felt and performed against the odds when everyone was pulling together. It’s not like it’s translated to the crowds at the games though as far as I can see. I didn’t go to Swindon but hear there was some...

Re: Hunt out.

Cant imagine the likes of a Warnock coming in unless he is grinding the organ I can. He's retired multiple times so a job where he can dabble and help out for a few months, rather than be the guy in the crosshairs with all the pressure and responsibility, would probably be a great way to stay invol...

Re: Fixtures 2025/26

Northampton Town (H) rescheduled for Tuesday, 21st October, 8pm KO. Sooner the club does away with these 8pm KO's the better, waste of time for a ground that won't have more than 7k in it. Is it a planning restriction on league games (noting that the Wimbledon league cup game was a 7pm KO)? If so, ...

Re: Josh bowler

This is just a massive well done all round to the club for attracting an exciting player and then when he made unreasonable demands telling him to do one and going elsewhere. If that is what happened. I believe Noel told a number of people, including some nobbers, at the Bearwood open day that a pl...
