AbovetheI Oh for real. What was with the chair banging brigade tonight? And I swear to christ I heard a vuvuzela tonight.

Yeah, the vuvuzela was right in front of where I was in sitting in Y23.

And as for those two kids who ran onto the pitch

I didnt hear the Vuvzela, but that is worrying...Also agree with the easy, but i must admit i started doing it when we scored until my brain kicked in, and i stopped with a shameful look. I also hate the sh*t on the floor chant.

Aside from that, i do think its pathetic slagging off our own fans last night...For a game against a bottom division side the atmosphere was generally good...

There were a lot of arseholes in y26 y25, but at least they made the effort and sung. Unlike many in the rest of the East stand, they also stayed with the team and didnt boo at full time, which at 2-2 is stupid.

Frankly that is worse in my eyes than any easy easy chant - the people who go, dont sing aside from an occasional handclap, boo when we are drawing, then go home, fire up the internet and complain about the only people inside the ground who were making an atmosphere.

There should be a rule on this forum - you can only moan about the crowd if you A) attend, and B) contribute to the atmosphere.

Oh and to that Steward who came up to tell me to sit on my seat properly, try being polite next time, just because i sing and sit in y25,y26 doesnt make me a criminal or somebody you can talk down to, and threaten, for no good reason.

Im not sure what is worse, our moaning fans or the yellow jacket brigade.

Oh god - there were some kids down in the front row banging the chairs and some signpost.
The best bit was when he stood up (on the opposite side of the N'hamp supporters) and tried to start a fight with them... He was like 14?

MmmMonsterMunch Why do people chant "You couldn't sell all your tickets" or "they're here, they're there, everyfuckingwhere empty seats"??! Hello take a look around the home end you mongs. It is embarrassing.

Fair play to Northampton very respectable turnout I thought.

To be fair, that was only sung in reponse to the Northampton fans singing it - to point out how stupid their chant was.

To ALL of you that write on here about how crap RFC fans are, or how you hate the EASY EASY chants, or how you think the Y26 area is full of muppets....WHY DON'T YOU GO AND TELL THESE PEOPLE TO THEIR FACE, rather than sit in front of your grubby little laptop back in the comfort of your home. You are just as bad, if not worse.

Bit of an easy pop, this one - Grammar police alert - but shouldn't a journo of some maturity be able to type/spell/spellcheck properly?

Or do you work for the Chronic, in which case, apologies?

Journalists can't spell, thats why god invented sub editors and spellcheck. Furthermore, broadcast journalists don't really need to spell, just read and write.

To be honest, when Reading fans don't sing, they get slated. Likewise when a certain few do decide to sing and create an atmosphere, they are also slated. It's a loose/ loose situation either way. :|

They could always try singing songs that support OUR team rather than just having a pop at the away fans all the bloody time!! Some of the chants last night were embarrassing. How they support a load of rubbish etc - errr we were the team that got outplayed!

"1-0 on your big day out" was the most cringeworthy. I know of some our fans might think we have god like status & are a big club but we're not. Not by a long stretch. Just makes us sound like arrogant d1cks. I was almost willing Northampton to win at some stages just to shut the morons up.
