love them all tbh.

I think Mbengue has acquired legend status. Craig and Elliot have made massive progress, and Wing is the team's talisman. Smith is a great striker, the best we've had for years.

Yeah, it may be frustrating from time to time but I enjoy watching this team more than most others in the last decade/post 2012 era.

I think it's Bindon to be fair. Just oozes quality and confidence, and I really hope he makes a career as high as possible.

But to be honest, you could pick from quite a few. This is a really likeable squad, with the more senior players taking their roles seriously and everyone working hard to get results.

You can see the love they have for each other, and also how they respond to the positive support from the crowd.

Knibbs, Wing, Bindon all quality and key.

Smith, I think, isn’t that great. Good L1 player.

I’ve only been to one game this season and can’t remember which one or how we got on.
Therefore my vote for Basil Tuma probably doesn’t carry much weight.

Echo the comments on the squad. Great set of lads

Knibbs, Bindon, JP, Mbengue, Savage, Wing in that order for me

Some very good performances by all the aforementioned (Pereira tends to get overlooked a little) but the answer is Bindon by a country mile in my opinion.

I’d have thrown Elliott into the mix as well as he adds something to the team in transition that we don’t otherwise have.

Elliott's contribution to the team is growing in his absence, as we seem to find it impossible to retain the ball for any length of time since his injury.

Knibbs and Savage play at a million miles an hour driving forward, and Wing goes for the killer long ball as often as he can. I think it might be different with Craig in midfield, as he tends to be calm and pick a short pass, but he's either RB or injured.

Talented, without a doubt, still rather prone to giving the ball away too much, and not one of standout stars for me, but Elliott's playstyle does seem to mesh well with the other midfielders and bring out the best of the unit.

But then whenever someone is out we envariably remember their best and forget their worst.

I think the whole squad is great tbh. Bindon is without doubt a future star and I have always rated Craig. It’s just great to see players from the academy developing and I don’t think we’d have seen many given the chance had we stayed in the Champ.

On a separate note I’d take Chem over Azeez now, but that’s just my opinion.

Chem probably a bit more consistent ... but Femi was explosive at times!

That’s it exactly! Femi could go from 3/10 to 10/10. I don’t know if Chem can get to 10/10, but he’s improving.

I'd say:
  • Bindon has been consistently good throughout.
  • Mbengue has been good too, just not at the same level;
  • Pereira has been good, but has made a few errors in the past few weeks;
  • Both Wing and Knibbs started out slow in their deeper positions but have got through that transition well;
  • Craig has done well to adapt quickly to right-back, but it's obviously not where he should be playing;
  • Both Elliott and Savage have improved well, but haven't always played consistently for different reasons;
  • Campbell started slowly and became one of our better players.

This. Fin

Though I think the improvement in Campbell is a bit overstated. I don't th ink it's that different to when people were criticising him, it's just the weight of goals and assists can't be ignored now.

Agree with that. Think wing has done well, as has savage recently.

Think smith is at best a half decent l1 player. Bindon will play in championship minimum soon and maybe premier league or bundesliga. Think our other young defenders have done well too.

In order
Bindon
Wing
Mbengue

Would love to shoehorn Smith in there......
Also a mention for the lad Kanu....I like him a lot from what I've seen (bout 6 games). If Bindon/Mbengue go wouldn't mind seeing him get a run at CB.
