Mid Sussex Royal
morganb Andy Rinomhota looks likely to leave Cardiff

Also Cardiff captain Joe Ralls is now a free agent. He's 31 so someone we'd probably not look at, however he started with Aldershot and Farnborough and his family still lives in the area so could move back

Been offered a deal at Cardiff but has declined the terms offered.

Ralls or Rino?

Ralls could be length of deal rather than money. Rino more likely to be money/level to turn down, which would likely rule us out too. Plus our midfield is already strong with Wing, Savage, Elliott, Knibbs and hopefully Craig.

Sorry Rino - agree don't need him back.

Carroll couldn't do the running Selles required. They may have had a more major disagreement, but Carroll himself said he couldn't fit in with the way Selles wanted to play.

I had another season at Reading. I wasn't playing and I spoke to the manager. He wanted legs up top which is something I don't have. I was going to say 'anymore' but I don't think I ever had them!

Not sure of the ‘levels’ that he has been playing at, but still a decent goals per game ratio for a ‘old biff’

Ditto unless he was the only signing and I think there are better ones out there still than him, for potentially only one midfield signing

Paunovic is now a manager in La Liga with Oviedo, having secured promotion.

Tigres fans in Mexico liked him a lot too

Decent enough manager in there somewhere…wrong time, wrong place with us…left graciously with a win.

I saw they'd been promoted, didn't know he was the manager. Pleased for him. Decent guy.

When he's sat on the bench at Mastella or the Estadio Benito Villamarin he'll wonder where it all went wrong for him...

Hard to judge any managers on their record under Dai, we were a shitshow. Judge them on their wider career.

Clement was unquestionably shit. Maybe Pauno is alright.

Pauno was like Gomes, a nice bloke and decent enough with youth but lacked the necessary experience to be able to manage the effects of the idiot owner, or the fallout from the idiot Gourlay.

Just read the Oviedo story and it’s one that I’m sure we can empathise with, sounds like they were very close to being killed off on a number of occasions

Pauno was an odd one. He kind of lost the plot eventually and think dealing with Dai’s shitshow was too much for him understandably

That team he had to put out when Fulham spanked us must be one of the worst we ever put out in the champ

And when we got it right - ie Bournemouth - we were exceptional in his first season but we crumbled dismally when a play off place should have been minimum after that start

Not sure what I think about him really. Above Gomes, Ince and Clement - Below Stam, Selles, Bowen and Hunt in the Dai era if I ranked them probably

Stam, in the Dai era, was a clueless plank, Pauno would definitely be above him.

Yes I suppose if we’re strictly talking about Dais time he was probably the worst actually

Great job in year 1 though
