It really looks like what it is a team of ex championship players against a bunch of loans and free transfers.

Last year Orient lost their first 5. I can see us doing similar. Get another CF option and a bit more confidence from O'Mahony and we've got the makings of a good team, but currently no real chemistry or clear plan around the box.

We'll be fine, it's just a tough learning curve from 2 hard opening fixtures.

This.

Referee's been poor but we've been worse - we just offer no threat. Need a striker to sign this week.

Seems like Burns is the assist master, just at the wrong end

No way we concede from 2 set pieces with O'Connor fit. Only we could sign a player who consistently plays 40+ league games a season and miss him for our first month.

Really poor effort from the minute Burns missed that header

Poor subs from Hunt. And in general that last 20 was awful

Feels like an undeserved win for Huddersfield really,

But I wasn't really expecting this good a performance from us, quite positive.

Watch this space we're going to be quite good in comgin weeks I feel.

It’s bigger than that. We create very little. Not like we’re fizzing balls or across or putting in through balls etc

Just don’t look like consistently making chances, it’s not the finishing (or it might be that as well, just don’t know)

We are far worse at the back with the loss of Mbengue and Bindon

and we have no goals upfront with the loss of Smith and Knibbs and even Wareham

Oh and our best player is injured

Weird timing of the substitutions...

Seemed to change the whole momentum of the game

Part of that is the striker though, O'Mahony offers very little up front.

Very obvious where we need to strengthen.

Chameleon Impressed by most of the new signings. Dan K and Fraser in particular look like they have a lot of potential.

There is the obvious issue though - for all the good work - 1 shot. Need a signing there.

We do, but just throwing signings at it won’t nec help. It’s the lack of interplay and understanding between them that’s the main issue imo

From the limit bits I've seen, Lincoln and preseason, I think its a combination of building an understanding and leaning too much into retaining possession over having a dig.

Where do Huddersfield get all there money. I hadn’t realized that they had spent so much and they did last season.

Do wonder if Hunt's being set up for a fall, was that a vote of confidence in the week
