Just seen the 2nd goal, looked like Paudie was running in treacle.

Snowflake Royal Oh dear.

Fail to stop a winger make a simple cross yet again.

He raced past Paudie with ease. He's good in the air but gets left for dead against any pace

I could race past Paudie with ease.

3 at the back might work but not if the slowest player in the league is the wide centre half. You’d have thought we’d have learned that first hand with DK up at Blackpool.

Ominous. It feels very reminiscent of the early Dai days; decent players with experience on paper but no coherent plan, and other teams just look hungrier and fitter. We held our own in the first half, then they upped their intensity and we had no answer. Forget about quality, they earned the right to play and we didn't.

Relegation a real concern. January is big; we the amount of investors involved, we should have more resources available than those around it. It has to be spent well, and it'll be costly as we have ourselves in a panic situation. I also wonder if we need a Martin Allen style coach to put a rocket up arses.

Jackson Corner How many will turn up for Thursday’s game? Think l will watch the darts than this crap.

I'm considering skipping games now.....They've got my ST money but Im starting to get fed up watching the same shit week after week.
I'm sick of these players as well. Half of them look out of their depth. We have recruited really badly. Did Hunt have a say? no idea, but whoever recruited them needs to be shown the door.
I was hoping also we would be getting the Wigan Richardson and not the Rotherham one.....It's starting to get worrying now.

retro royal This is stam ball V2, mucking about with it in back 4, passing about in our half then long ball, full backs get no cover plus don't block crosses. As for O'Connor who the hell sanctioned a 3 year contract

His agents brother

Getthebeerens We are going backwards. Pressure for the ownership now to bring in players quickly in January. As we are very much in a relegation fight now.

You can say that again!

I do agree we need a team that is more phyaical and more aggressive. But not sure about coaches who rely on the hair dryer treatment. Feels a bit old school. And Graham Alexander doesnt strike me as a rocket up the arse sort of guy, yet his players are clearly showing so much more effort than ours.

A competitive first half but we were hardly in it during the second.
Most of the 50/50s were won by Bradford and there is no excuse for that.

I liked the Bradford commentary, the main man knew his stuff and wasn't biased although early on he did describe Big Kelvin as being "burly" which we know he isn't.

Why do these commentators need a pundit alongside them-?
He would have been fine on his own and Kiwomya could barely put two words together.

So, the simple matter of a result probably needed v Luton to stop us being in the relegation places for Christmas followed by a relegation clash on Boxing Day at Plymouth.
Oh the joys of following a football club-those Premier days feel like light years away, did they really happen?

Just a distant memory. Twenty years ago since the 106 team :(

Not sure the answer. But the team has the quality and experience on paper to do better. Who is leading us to move forwards instead of sideways / backwards? Who is bringing energy and intensity? I don't see much accountability for the level of performance at the moment. And that's the biggest problem to solve, whatever the answer is.

Dread to think what kind of salaries we're locked into with Wing, Marriott and O'Connor for the next 3 years. Legs have gone already.

Along with Lane who is yet to show he can be fit for more than 15 minutes at a time

With players like Wing and O'Connor, the only solution is to make it work. They are good L1 players at the peak of their career.

The question should be what signings would complement them and allow them to perform consistently. Like Tuchel picking players to bring the best out of Kane and Rice for England instead for a team of no.10s.

We really don’t try to help ourselves either.

It was pretty obvious they stepped up the press in the second half and focused on Wing. At no stage did we try to do anything about it. Why not try to move Wing around for a few minutes and see what they did. We just kept doing the same thing with the same end result.

We were doing fine until Marriott came back into the squad :)

Seriously we do need to get a win in the next couple of games or I do fear for us. We’re so clearly lacking in certain areas - a striker and any pace at the back. It’s a pretty poor state when we’re relying on a transfer window to get us out of trouble again

Anyone who thinks we are going to bring in players up to standard who will improve the areas we need needs their head checking. We’re oxf*rd.

Tbf the new owners ambition is to get us out of this division, they could be doing it in extra quick time.

Millsy No biggie really.

Away defeat against a likely autpro side.

Couldn't really expect more.

The real (and only, so far) calamity was the awful last game, which is still shocking and indefensible.

You've obviously accepted that we are a lower end/ relegation threatened league one club, to be honest, I expected more after the takeover in the summer.
