Uke
ElmParker Kebe passed when he should’ve taken the responsibility and finished himself.

Shirley, not on the football pitch! He could just have asked to be pulled off at half time instead.

Sometimes a player needs to take a firm hold of himself and shoot his hardest. And don't call me Shirley.

But he could have just finished off with a satisfying shot inside the box

How is Shane Long getting a start?

Even Dellor and Gooding said it, "his first touch is terrible, his second is worse and his ball control is poor. But obviously Steve Coppell see's something we don't".

He is utter tripe.

He hasn't improved as we hoped and he isn't good enough for this level. But yet again Coppell wants to stick by someone and we all saw what that did to us last season. Bloody hell, even Coppell himself admitted he was to loyal to some individuals.

I can't see how he's getting starts ahead of what has been a promising start to the season for Noel Hunt.

I feel sorry for Long at the moment. Things aren't going his way at the moment, he looks like his heart isn't in it for some reason or another, but agree wholeheartedly, he shouldn't start on Tues eve. We need to see Doyle and Hunt start a game together and see how they do. Doyle and Long just isn't cutting it.

And all this negative rubbish is helping?

As far as I can see - along with most of those that sit around me in the East Stand - see someone putting their heart and sole into the game, not scared to tackle and probably trying just a little bit to hard if anything. Give him a break.

agree with th etrying too hard bit, he just seems to lock up at the vital moment at the minute
i suppose he just hasnt responded well to the pressure put on him by coppells rightful assertion that idf he doesnt start to show it now, hell be moved on.
whatever the reason though, we cant afford another wasted game just to see if he comes good

i love the bloke, and really wish he would spark into life, but he hasnt, and its time to try a different way of motivating him,in the reserves or on loan for a bit.

Soul. Oh, and fcuk off newbie.

By the way, I think Noel Hunt is a much better player than Long, after all, Hunt has scored a goal this season whereas Long hasn't. Time for a change for tomorrow night, I hope.

No one doubts that, the one slight flaw with Shane Long is he isn't very good at football.

Don't think it makes the slightest bit of difference actually.

Long still looks like a boy in a man's game to me. Given our other options and his complete impotency so far this season, he simply has to get dropped.
