At 83 mins and 1-1, we were pinned back and the missus said that we weren't going to score another goal.

I put my last £2 on Betfair on a 1-2 result. 8)

With the team we were able to pick, that has to be the championship result of the day, that was a performance of guts and effort, special performances Mills, Howard, Pearce, Feds and how well did McAnuff do when he went to full back.

Good performance today. Defended very well seeing as we had McAnuff right back. Cummings had a good game.

Matt Mills 10 out of 10.

13th, Leicester 2nd bottom with Pompey below them. A touch of the Mandaric's. Makes for lovely viewing. Brilliant and unexpected result for us. Now I'll enjoy the long weekend that little bit more. Here's hoping the injuries aren't that bad.

Cummings deserves a lot of praise tonight too!

Top battling for the 3 points, and Mills was quality for the last 10 minutes or so.

We might be lacking in numbers and quality but that performance shows the spirit is good and that can count for a lot if we don't add to this threadbare squad.

Really happy with the result but other than the corner put in from Howard what does he offer, Kebe was poor today and Long/Church just anonymous. Cummings was better as the game went on. For me we sat far too deep at time and not enough pressure on their midfield.

Glad international break is here.

I realised afterwards that I watched the whole game in a mindset that we had no striker. We won because the rest of the team did their jobs--just--but the hole where a centre forward should be was unnerving.
