Gus the teenage cow I'm sorry but a blind man could see that we need cover in defense and in the middle of the park, our bench has been an embarrassment all season, our lack of depth is a joke and we're paying for it.

2 key issues

1. Unprecedented level of injuries - coaching and medical staff culpable here

2. Lack of investment in loan players: Millwall who are strapped for cash just took Andy Wilkinson, an experienced premier league full back on loan today yet we sit around scratching our arses watching our team lose by 3 goals every game and not being able to change a thing because the only options in reserve are untried kids who are basically just placeholders on the bench

Who is culpable here? Again the manager for failing to identify the urgent need for reinforcements and Hammond for failing to go through with the deals regardless of the manager's procrastinating

In short there is a real atmosphere of inertia and intransigence pervading from the top down and enabled no doubt by clueless new owners who are still figuring out what shape the ball is,

If they have any business sense they'll do what wany business-person worth their salt does when inertia infests an organisation, they'll change things - it's criminal that 13 games into the season we are still playing with half a reserve squad, it shouldn't have been allowed to happen and Adkins and Hammond should pay for such negligent levels of complacency with their jobs - fed up of this constant BS now

Not sure why Hammond's being blamed. The manager identifies the player and Hammond does the deal. If the manager doesn't identify a player then what is Hammond supposed to do, negotiate with thin air?

We don't know exactly how it works. It might be Hammond's responsibility to scour the loan market, for all we know.

I'm a fan of Hammond - but our general absence from the loan market (when other clubs at our level are loaning the likes of Wisdom and Bamford) is more than just a coincidence now, it's been a trend since Coppell's time at the club. Maybe that is Hammond.

West Brom are not "our" level.

I blame Wales for giving games to Church, Kanu and Gunter.

What a load of drivel from Adkins again. We played well in first half but our problem was we couldn't make anything of our chances. There was a good comparison of the two teams when the bournemouth player misplaced a pass and it went straight to one of our forwards. After 3 pointless passes the chance was missed. Compare that to Hectors mistake - 2 seconds later Bournemouth scored.

I think making Gunter captain was a massive mistake - yes i'm sure he's a well liked, and intelligent lad, but he seems to have the presence of willow the wisp.

And now he's also undroppable.

genome Whatever happens tonight at least we don't support Roma or Bate Borisov.

Desper8 stuff m8.

I heard a couple Reading fans on Saturday after the defeat at Derby say "At least we didn't get beaten like Sunderland did today".

WTF - has that got to do with Reading's current predicament, it's in a totally different league and in your case a different competition.

Your post only highlight the 'mentality' of many Reading fans.

The other month, when Reading won, was it 4-2 against Millwall or something - Glen Murray was the new Jimmy Quinn and 99.9% of your fans got carried away. One game does not make a season I was thinking. And how I've been proved correct so far.
