A. It's a video

B. He didn't "publish" anything.

The law relates to publishing of photographs in magazines and the like.

viewing or non-commercially showing such a photo in private, generally does not create legal exposure, at least in the United States.

I happened to tune in at the time Peach was talking to Murty and he did ask him about the video. Was quite persistent in fact, but Murty said he hadn't seen it, didn't know anything about it etc. However, then did say that the lads were ribbing Lita about the publicity and had cut out all the newspaper articles to pin on the notice board.

Said that by bringing such things into the open and making fun of the individual concerned it helped to get through it and then to forget about it. No moral judgement by Peach or Murty were made, but the implication was it was a bit of a silly thing to do.

Personally I'm not worried about it, but if the girl wasn't aware then I feel bad for her. Overall it does show up an a lack of any respect for girls treating them as pieces of meat to be laughed at, but having 3 daughters I'm probably too sensitive.

Doesn't make him a bad player and if on form should be in the team, but doesn't promote football to female fans.

Don't think this has any relevance to Leroy's football but agree that it clearly marks him out as a prize twat, with little respect for women. That said, it beats me how the girl wouldn't have known what he was doing. Why put yourself in that situation? The words STUPID and NO SELF RESPECT come to mind.

I know I said I wouldn't post/read this thread, but I'd like to make a point. This hasn't been reported on the beeb website or sky sports website. And it doesn't even show up on newsnow either. So I'd suggest it's not really a big thing, so perhaps some of you should get over it and let Leroy get on with his football career as it has nothing to do with football.

I can't be bothered to read the whole of this thread, so someone may already have mentioned it, but didn't Robin Friday once crap in someone's kit bag only to later be deified by Reading supporters and get his mug shot in the RFC Hall of Fame? I know this sounds stupid but i dont think another Reading player or a friend of Lita that has leaked the story to the press.

The press have ways of intercepting data from phones and have been proven to do so in the past.

The press are the scum of the earth, they will do anything for a story.

I have a friend who does work for vodafone and i could find out the whole england cricket team mobile numbers for a price and a few years back he was delivering manure's players phones with the number on the outside of the box.

it wouldn't be very proffesional to do anything with them though.

anyone who works for a phone company/bank can look into peoples accounts and find famous people/footballers.

I worked for a phone company and a colleague looked in to a Mr A Shearer of Gateshead's account to see what Pay per view tv he had ordered etc.

Yes, what Lita has done is nothing to the likes of the infamous Robin Friday or Steve Moran or Billy Whitehurst (allegedly!!)
