Reading on the what the papers say thread, I note that Boro missed a glorious one-on-one chance. That is three such chances spawned against Reading in 5 days given Millwall's earlier profligacy. I take back what I said on another thread about our striking department being our worst - it seems that our flat-footed defence is equally poor. And in the middle of the park we're lacking too.

Royalee Remind me, how did Swansea get on today?

They won.

so Rodgers is fantastic.

Remind me of how they did last weekend?

They lost. We won.

ergo Rodgers is SHIT. Or something like that.

Just seen the goals on BBC - Pearce flat-footed for the first two goals, the second of which slipped limply through Adam Federici's hands. Plus ça change.

Clodagh had a complete squad he needed to rebuild when he came in here, at Swansea he just needs to find a scoring touch therefore I would expect him to do better with Swansea this season than with Reading last season.

Oh and we were poor yesterday (not too worried though as I expected naff all at Middlesbrough) and at least the duck won't be able to set up any more breakaways for the opposition from his usually dreadful corners for 3 games.
