No Fixed Abode I'm w8ing for the link to prove it was actually good business taking into account all the factors involved and not just "We got 4m for him". Jagermesiter1871 hasn't provided it yet.

I think no goals and barely any starts for Der*choke*by in the 2nd half of the season and 6 months left on his contract is the only proof you need that Nicky Hammond is a better fleecer than a Hebredian shepherd mate. Jog on back to Radamel Falcao and Juan Cuadrado

Torres, Shevchenko. The list is endless. In fairness to Kes if anyone is going to know about bad business deals in football it would be him.

No, we sold Blackman so we could pay the arrears on Halford's drugs (allegedly).

Blackman had no loyalty or commitment. He thought he was a lot better than he really was. He didn't understand that without his team mates and the system he was playing in he wouldn't have achieved 13 goals in a half a season. On that basis, it was right to sell him.

We need real men at the club with proper back bone. The likes of Doyle, Kitson, Long, Quinn, Senior.... Blackman enjoyed fleeting success. He doesn't have the character to keep it up for a prolonged period. He doesn't have the loyalty to stay somewhere when he is doing well and build on his game.

On that basis, it was great business to get rid of him. He was a pr*ck. Not a good person to have in the dressing room.

How many times did you share a dressing room with him? Or ever speak to him, for that matter?

Funny as fcuk thread lads, interesting to someone who isn't too regular like myself to see how deep this shit goes.
EPs posts made me laugh, particularly the quote below,

Extended-Phenotype I even know what the Mentalist's response will be and it depresses me a bit that I have such weak lameness etched into my brain from overexposure.

Boring, boring stuff.

but this was my personal favourite.

tidus_mi2 I do find Kes to be a remarkable subject of study

That makes it sound like Kes is a particularly sick and troublesome, but fascinating patient at a mental hospital

So to summarise, Kes has been no lifing this forum for far too long (made all the more sad by the fact he is a Chelsea fan) and needs to get out more, but cannot leave Shutter Island due to the risks he poses to public safety and society.
