Out of interest, do those who claim he is "lazy" have the pleasure of watching Seol train day in day out at Hogwood, or just make assumptions that he isn't interested on 1 performance?

There were a number of factors that cost us the game Tuesday night, but mainly they were the goalkeeper/defence along with SC's poor formation he started.

The great thing about the last 1 and 1/2 seasons if not one player has let us down wearing the Hoops, but 8 months into the Premiership season, we overachieve seriously and now the "boy-boys" have found a new target.

rg6royal looked so classy when he first came to the club at the start of the season but has just lost confidence and glen little is far too good for him.

that sums it up well, Seol has not suddenly turned in to a bad player, he is class, just not on form, and will struggle to with little playing so well

I have based my criticism on more than 1 game to be honest.

The majority of the games that he has played this season he has been lazy. Lacking passion and not chasing balls... where as Stephen hunt chases every ball down. Even balls that he has no hope of getting to.

I know who i would want in my team and its not Seol

BTW I still havent booed Seol this season as hes wearing a reading shirt.

The same thing happened at Wolves, he has a great start but then after numerous lazy displays the fans turn against him and he loses confidence.

I can guarantee that if Soel put the same effort in on the pitch as the rest of the players, then this thread would never of started because he is techinically a good player.

If he put the same effort in as the rest of our players, he'd be one of the best players at the club easily, which is so frustrating. I wouldn't mind so much if he was technically useless and was trying his heart out, but he's got stacks and stacks of ability and wastes it, which I have trouble accepting.

Seol

by Fred Sharpe's Nose » 01 Mar 2007 11:03

Come on guys, the way he dissed Steve Coppell when he was substituted shows that he's got an attitude problem.

Is there anyone Korean out there who knows the guy and can get these views across to him, just in case he's not aware already? Seol, a gifted player in his own right, is in serious danger of throwing away his own career.

If you had your own fans booing you it might give you an 'attitude problem'.

There are too many that want Seol to be a Glen Little clone and expect him to play like one. It ain't gonna happen.

Its funny how a lot of journalists praised his performance but could also praise Little as well, not constantly comparing them to each other.

MC ROYAL Bloody hell, it's like the Lita hating all over again. Bad attitude, should leave the club, etc. FFS people, give him a chance.

BTW, I thought Seol was much better than several other players, like Sidwell and Doyle.

 Bizarre.

Doyle WAS quiet, and was obviously not match fit. Mind you, I still have my doubts whether Kitson is fully match fit yet. Both the front two seemed very laboured. Perhaps the pitch didn;t help? Although that didn't stop Sidwell or Gunnarsson from getting around OK!!

Without Sidwell, I fear Tuesday could have been a disaster, so I don't get your Seol comment at all.

TBF, ask the 23,821 who were there for ratings for the 22 starters, and you'll probably get 23,821 different permutations!

(Just waiting for the Maths genius to tell me how many different ways there are of marking 22 players out of 10!)

he had a decent game, but petered out in the second half
got a few good crosses in, and a couple of decent shots, one drawing a decent save.
compare his mistakes to littles 1st two touches, and then can you honestly say that this isnt unjustified criticism?
yet again, a reading demi-god gets all the praise whatever happens, whereas the current"scapegoat"gets vilified, whatever happens

seol was even tackling back, putting himself in for headers
had a much better game then recent outings, and only required little to come on when he tired,
when little plays he has to go off after 60-70 mins too, but yet again no one complains.

now dont get me wrong, little is the white pele, a true demi god, and i love him more than life itself. and seol can look a little languid, and take one too many touches on occasion. (but so does oster who is currently getting rave reviews for his performance,)
but he wasnt that bad on tuesday night.
thats all im saying

and hes obviously struggling to get in the side, and if he hugged the manager for taking him off after an hour id be a little concerned, his tiff is just frustration, and a good sign
i believe he wont be shipped out anywhere as some are calling for.

To show him what I think of him wasting his talent to maybe give him the kick up the backside he needs.

This is where you are wrong - I rate Seol. And I speak for myself, not other people I happen to sit with. They pay enough for their tickets to be thoroughly entitled to their opinions.

Fair enough Floyd out of all on that row you do seem to be the one backing the boys and i don't really have a problem with yourself as you do get behind the lads even when 0-3 down on tuesday night. More of the case of the people near you, 1 in particular and i think you know who just moans solidly about Hunt, Seol and Bikey, even though when they are playing well he doesn't cheer them he just sits there nodding his head its unbelievable...some Reading fans clearly see us on par with Man Utd etc..

The bottom line is do you think booing helps your team????

Obviously not, give your full support to all the players and let Coppell sort out the rest.

They don't boo, its just one lad saying Hunt your f**king sh*t, get off the pitch etc., same for Bikey and just laughing but not supporting him at all. Hes hardly going to get any better if your on his back  . As for Seol we all know hes lazy but you got to remember that Seol in first 10 games etc won us a lot of points and was a great aquisition, whether he comes good again or not he is still a big part to why we are so high in the league

Ok, so I may not be the most supportive but I am pretty loyal.

How many of the plastics going to Arsenal were at Boro' on saturday? Or at Chesterfield, Bradford, Wycombe, Notts County or Torquay (yes I have been to Plainmoor).

I am entitled to my opinion and if you'd care to talk to me rather than slating me with what are quite mindless insults, I may share them with you.

Until you have the grace to apologise for the tirade of abuse you saw fit to throw at me, I shall not get into a greater debate on this matter.

Just remember we are all on the same side at the end of the day.
