Nameless
St. Brynjar SJM & TSI would sell their shares in conjunction. The Omanis/Yanks would be stupid to buy half the club for more than the other half.

Why would they sell together ? No reason why they should. Each will looking out for themselves

And the new people would be stupid not to drive down the price of half the club..... If they know AZ is desperate to sell they could easily try and force him to take a lower price as long as they were smart about it

They'd sell together because I'd imagine the consortiums interested want to buy the whole club so they can have it to themselves, not share it with Sir John.

I'd love to think Sir John will hang around forever and look after the club he helped to build but realistically most people pumping a shit load of money into something don't want to share their new toy.

Mid Sussex Royal Chronicle seems to have got sources saying the whole thing could take months

Knowing how accurate everyone on here finds the Chronicle it means either (a) its done and dusted or (b) there is no takeover

Heard Y2J has already got a season ticket for next season in Y25 so that pretty much confirms Vinnie Mac is taking over.

Extended-Phenotype
Pepe the Horseman Vinnie Mc turns up expecting to have full control, only to find out that the other half has been sold off to the fans' favourite from Oman. Cue Gylfi driving into the stadium in a milk truck.

McMahon storms onto the pitch to shout a speech at the fans. Then music erupts into the stadium mid-speech, he spins around angered - 'The Sheik' comes bounding down the stairs in Y23, jumps onto the pitch and suplexes McMahon. While marching around victoriously waving to the crowd, McMahon slams 'The Sheik' in the back with a dustbin made of kitchen foil.

Finally the half tine entertainment conundrum will be solved!

it's only pub talk but some are saying today that there's been a new offer made to counter the one received last weekend. no-one knows what bid is from who though. also that we were happy with last weeks bid. i don't care if its true or not, i just want to see some signings. the clock is ticking and we need some stability again!

Info. I have is that nothing much at all is happening at the moment and nowhere near a takeover. Interesting Adkins is saying we should just go with our squad.

Well it doesn't look as if the takeover has happened yet but I guess it will in due course.

AZ is maybe waiting to see if we can get back into the Premiership before selling his share.

Adkins interview on BBCRB made it sound like we won't be signing anyone in this window.

Hopefully, the players we have can give us a good end to the season.

Adkins interview wasn't saying we weren't going to sign anyone, or making it sound like that was likely, it was just a diversionary bit of chat to avoid answering the actual question and keep the expectation of spending too much in check.

Or he has just been told no chance of a takeover at moment. That coincides with what I heard today

Dave - you're killing us all here. You said it would be announced before the 18th or after. I guess now its after, but your comment above suggests you may not know. I'm disappointed as I (and I'm sure hundreds others) have been hanging on your every word when it comes to new ownership ... please let us know what is going on.

Dave-Royal knows sod all that the rest of us dont already know.
We all know a takeover will happen becuase the club is up for sale, not rocket science, dont need to be ITK, but nobody knows when.

I wouldnt be suprised if the sticking point at the moment is the ego himself. If others want 100% then i reckon Old JM still wants to be Chairman for a while and some assurance that the Stadium name doesnt change.

We could do with some perspective in all this.

In most business purchases there will be an NDA signed by one or both parties (non-disclosure agreement)
If that is the case then giving information to anyone else is not permitted LEGALLY.
Releasing info could either scupper the deal or cost the leaky party damages.
Whether we deserve info or not is completely irrelevant.
