Slight snag at #readingfc today - hearing bad weather has hindered their coach trip up to Preston! Sure they'll be fine to get on the road once the wind settles.

As if we didn't already have enough problems with coaches.

The small glimmer of false hope is that Preston have struggled to score against us and get much out of our games in recent years.

We beat them earlier in the season simply because they couldn’t put the ball in the net enough in our regular last 20 retreat and collapse. Not because we were actually deserving to win. It was the same pattern we've seen us throw countless points away in the rest of the season.

Whilst they're unbeaten in a while, they've still only scored two in four games.

That's the sole chance of us getting points. Preston being blunt and us being able to outscore them because our attack isn't awful until we concede a goal or two.

I cannot see how a 0-0 draw against a terrible Posh side will renew our confidence though. Especially when it was a game a better team could have thumped us in, involving multiple defensive and keeper errors.

I think Posh will win at Derby today. Derby on the back of a hammering from Boro. Posh were the better team against us and played well against Preston by all accounts.

The only good result from that game is if both teams field ineligible players or deliberately fail to fulfill the fixture.

If we win (LMFAO) I suppose a draw is ok.

We should park the team bus across our goalline, and hope that - plus the heavy rain/sleet that will fall for the whole of the game means we eek out another terrible 0-0.

Hoping for a Posh v Derby draw, with maybe a couple of red cards apiece as well.............

A draw and a 22 man brawl with minor injuries and several red cards would be nice. Would like to see Clarke-Harris get his hands on Lawrence.

I'm all aboard team oxf*rd this shit, lets lose every game to confirm our inevitable relegation asap and make the place increasingly hostile for Dai so he oxf*rd off and maybe just maybe things can start to improve, or we can have fun with a phoenix club

Doubt the Town has much appetite for a phoenix club. Let's face it, the people of Reading couldn't give a toss about it's football club.

No but it will give Paunovic a great excuse after the game.

The bunch of wimps we have in our squad bottled it away at Peterborough in the wind. Can only imagine what the level of commitment will be at Preston in the snow.

blythspartan Strong winds and rubbish weather might give us a fighting chance of another 0-0. Fully expect a drubbing but hoping that Hein launches a huge goal kick that catches the wind and sails over their goalie into the net and we win 1-0.

It's gonna happen. Might put some money on it.

Drinkwater might not be perfect but surely has to play, he is the only one in midfield who can pass the ball forward quickly - Laurent dithers, runs forward and gets dispossessed every bloody time.
