Please please can we never ever have 'theme' days again. We have created good atmospheres at games this season without the manufactered ideas that come from 13 year olds on this site.

mr butcher.....firstly you don't have to join in......secondly it will be a good way to highlight our feelings to him & the media thirdly don't be such a miserable oxf*rd,
p.s any chance we can get the band back for another beard day.....

bog off, inflatable day at Wednesday was awesome. Ginger day was extremely fun as well.

Good for the kids and makes the day a little bit more special. Excellent idea if used sparingly. bog off you kill joy moaner.

This is the reason people laugh at Reading fans and see Reading as a plastic club.

Theme days every season, get a grip.

Ginger day was terrible, all it did was manage to upset Kitson and make the fans look pathetic.

Surely it would be more "plastic" if we didn't have one seeing as we always used to.......although i think it would be more difficult to get a large amountof participation for a home game rather than some shitty and provincial northern away game (middlesborough)

not the only club to do it. I don't hear anyone laughing at West Brom about it.

Football isn't just about repressed ladish men in their mid 20's alad. If you don't like it don't join in, or better yet don't go. one or two games a season is not a problem.

Spacey, inflatables day at Sheffield Wednesday last year. Memorable for the blow up doll with Royal Lady written on the back. Genius whoever did that.

Joe, I think Stephen Hunt would prefer fans 'showing their feelings' towards him by supporting the team or dare i say it singing (preferably without the aid of a drum) rather than seeing some overweight mug wearing a wig and waving a rumble stick at him.

On the contrary! it gives the club a good image. Fans that participate rather than sit there quietly like a load of stereo-type sheep.A diversity of character, nothing plastic about that.
As for 'Beard day', how i miss it. It was always the first fixture i looked for when the seasons fixture list was announced, the highlight of my year. Please, oh please re-instate 'Beard day'!

It should really be called "HNA? Kids theme day" as what is often banded around on here (songs/theme days etc) pass most supporters by, for example there are at least 10 people behind this so far!

And apart from Beard Day/Old School Raves etc at the R&T it is plastic but each to their own.

If the club or STAR get behind it then fair enough. Good luck to ya.

so you don't do these which makes them plastic, but beard day wasn't because you took part and enjoyed it?

I despair sometimes.

No you tool, all that came years before any of this new age plastic era came along.
It was good when it was original, that's my opinion, now let me get on with my work.

BTW:

I despair sometimes
