We are changing our formation - to 442.

Rosenior is not and has never been a winger

Playing him as a right sided midfielder (at the moment) seems to make sense.

Yes I thought it a bit odd as well, swap Seol who is essentially a right winger for a player who is essentially another Graeme Murty (primarily a right back but who could do a job on the right wing).

Therefore, if I was Coppell, I would also have brought in a right winger but he obviously felt that that was not worthwhile with a) Little on his way back and b) Oster soon to be returning to the side - most likely on Saturday.

or c) Didn't have the time to find another right winger, or simply couldn't find one of decent standard.

In our formation, is there any difference between a winger or a midfielder? Currently we have no-one that can replace Seol or Little and we don't have the flexibility to change formation as witnessed last season when we played one up front and five in midfield or defence

Some people are questioning Roseniors attitude on this thread but one thing that Fulham fans were very impressed with about Rosenior was his attitude and commitment to the team.

If only all the Fulham players could have been as committed as Rosenior.

I don't think Liam is just talking the talk. I believe he will prove his committment on a Saturday and will walk the walk as well!

But lets wait and see.

he is a positive influence - surely a good thing when the rest of the dressing room is down

I like his comments.

John Halls
Greg halford
Liam Rosenior.

Just another "future replacement for Murty" big up destined to fail.

Are you referring to the disastrous 2-2 at Stamford Bridge? Or the flukey 1-1 at Old Trafford (we'll never get a draw there this season)?

I think there is a difference between laying Seol on the right wing and playing Rosenior there and I think that difference is rather too obvious to state. Rosenior and Convey on the wings gives the side decent balance, and in Little's absence we could do worse than play an energetic, pacey player who is not short of skill and also does his bit covering for the right back.

how can you compare rosenoir to halls and halford

rosenoir is a england U21 full back with premiership experience, whilst both halls and halford were brought from a championship side

try showing some optimisn and get behind the team instead of just moaning

Most certainly the formation was different at the two games, for a start we had Leroy up front with Doyle floating around the midfield/left wing position against Chelsea. Utd saw a more rigid midfield five trying to soak up and frustrate the midfield rather than attack. The games where we tried playing a lone striker up front with five actual midfielders in place behind did not work
