yay, a proper WUM

think most were just venting spleens because of the last minute heartbrake on the last day so i really wouldnt take it so much to heart, i would have thought a fan of such a big club would have had a thicker skin
did support cardiff for the cup, but just in the same kinda way im supporting the czech republic this season
well done by the way-looked a bit scary in the 1st half thought cardiff were going to do you.

im not sure why you would think mocking us on the size of our club compared to yours
clearly you are vastly huger than teeny tiny reading, we were just glad to make up the numbers, wouldnt even dream of finishing above you at any point.......where did you end up in 2006/2007?

and weve had a roof for years mate, all the way round our stadium-the pikey builders only just finished yours
tinpot feckers

What do you want from us?

To jump on the badwagon along with you and 200,000 other 'Pomp' fans?

Carlin20 It's sad to see you go down, but whatever you think about our current stadium and the club, Portsmouth have been and ALWAYS will be much bigger than the likes of Reading. Our history is so much better with many trophies, the fanbase too and when the stadium is built we will prove this, and generally the press/recognition of the club. Any true Reading fan must realise this and it's not up for debate.

Portsmouth FC's fanbase is the pikiest of the 92 league clubs. Any true Pompey fan must realise this and it's not up for debate.

Your fans are oxf*rd, but other than that I have no problem with Pompey. Rather them than Southampton

I am no glory hunter, i went to games in early 90's when we lost to orient, rotherham in front of 10-15k of people.

I dont mind reading, but i feel the premiership went to your head a bit, almost turned you deluded. Fair play, you've come along way.

Im here cos im interested, how many do you think you will average next season? I also think you will go up with coppell there.

Yes, we have a small ground, with small crowds. But everyone knows the potential of this club, it would not suprise me if pompey were classed as big as the likes of west ham in a few years.

What stunning arrogance. Did you really come on here to say "My club's bigger than yours?" If you did, then you can fook off right away. Tosser.

Pompey are no bigger or smaller than they've always been. had a few shifts in the top flight, had some moments ion the spotlight. This version could run for a couple of years a la Bolton, but they'll be relegated within the next five, I'd predict. So it goes with clubs like Portsmouth. I'd say there's a 50-50 chance by that time we'll be as well established. Teams like them, Blackburn, Bolton have hit the ceiling for achievement and we've got pretty close to it. It's all riding the waves and holding your breath in the troughs from here on.

Why would you give a flying phuck about us?

Where you going to build the ground?

No...
Portsmouth have been forced to move the location of their new stadium after concerns were raised by the Royal Navy.

Who's this guy?

Has this been knocked down yet?

I don't really care if you think you're bigger than us, you're acting like a tosser. Which is a shame since you started your post so well until your billy big bollocks paragraph.

A big club? But you can't sell out any of your home games! Last season you still had at least 200 seats not taken. I know a mate who works as a steward. Yeah 200 seats... no big deal... if you had a 70,000 seater stadium.

Pomey are so cocky. A guy I know who supports Pompey said to me that they will win the UEFA Cup and the only real compettion is Everton!!! If portsmouth were a big club the they would have a big stadium eg like old trafford, Have billions of fans across the world supporting them, winning the league and winning the champions league.

Harry Redknapp will leave soon and go help Bournemouth with their financial problems.

Pompey's honours.

Division 1
Champions 1948-49
1949-50 (this would be the Prem)
2002-03 (this is the Championship)

Division 2
Runners-Up 1926-27
1986-87
Division 3 (S)
Winners 1923-24
Division 3
Winners 1961-62
1982-83
FA Cup
Winners 1939
2008
Runners-Up 1929
1934

In summary, They won the league 50 years ago.

They won the first division a few years ago.

They've won a few lower league titles.

They've won the FA cup twice with a mere 69 year gap in between.

There must be a fair bit of space in that "massive trophy cabinet".

Carlin20 your point right footed, i dont see it?

I live outside of Portsmouth, fareham to be exact. What about you? Why, do you want to meet. I'll wear my pompey shirt, some tight boxers and my stilettos for you?
