weybridgewanderer Big change day for Kitson was the 6-4 game at white hart lane
he scored twice away from home and yet we still lost. I can imagine what I would have be saying in the dressing room!
Then it was a case I think of his head fell, a 7-4 and a 6-4 away from home, so we were banging in the goals but still not winning games.
I don't believe he was the same player after that.

Agreed, I`ve always thought he was fantastic and one of his biggest fans, but let sleeping dogs lie and all that. Time to look forward, not backwards, as somebody else on this forum suggested why don`t we go for someone of the calibre of Matty Fryatt (example), Lita has commited his immediate future to us and maybe he`ll sign a new deal should he be offered one.

Because Kitson is light years ahead of Fryatt.

statto Rather have Lita nowadays than Kitson
Really? You'd have someone who has scored three goals for us in 18 months, who we have unsuccessfully tried to offload, than a player that, if fit, would be one of the best in the league.
I'd have him back in a second, he offers something different to what we have, is less thick than most footballers, produces moments of magic.
Lita, on the other hand, produces moments of idiocy, uslessness, cheating, attitude, sulking and general oxf*rd.

Crikey, I could have sworn that the player who produced that absolutely magical overhead kick was black not ginger!!
Bring back Kitson and his outspoken attitude towards some of his team mates and watch the fantastic team spirit, which we currently appear to have, rapidly disappear!
Good player but perhaps not the team player SC currently wants.

That was definitely a turning point for Reading & Kitson last year - the team turned negative after that and all our scoring dried up. I guess only the dressing room knows how much of that was down to Kitson.
Kitson doesn't deserve a return to us - he's the one who walked out and we're not a charity. He's made his bed and he can lie in it.

We had pretty good team spirit when Kitson was here and we were good. We are good now, I don't see a problem.
Kitson has got a fantastic record at this level and a fairly good one for us at Prem level. Especially considering his injuries and teh way we played last season.
Lita has a patchy record at Prem level and a good one at this level. That's all.

. That's exactly what we've done mate. Resigned him to Stoke for a very reasonable fee.resign Kitson for a 'reasonable' fee
