25th May is close enough for a birthday treat for me. Now I'm well and truly torn. Do I want the safety of automatic promotion or the thrill and danger of the play-offs?

There is no choice here - losing in the play offs is like being kicked in the balls, only that familiar sickening feeling lasts for 12 months (well a long time anyway!)

Can you see us beating Swansea, Bristol, Cardiff, or Preston in a big one off game? I'm not sure I can.
Automatics are of course preferable, because there is less worry involved. BUT winning the play offs would be an amazing day out and feeling. Probably better than the feeling of winning the league. The relief and nerves would make it so much sweeter.
Yeah priceless. Plus you get all those tacky stalls from Blackbush coming over to Broad Street trying to flog their 'kiss me quick' hats and 'we are going up' flags and scarves.
