Bolton keen on Cox
Megson eyes Swindon raid for striker
Last updated: 24th January 2009
Skysports.com understands Bolton Wanderers are the latest club to have made an offer for 17-goal Swindon striker Simon Cox.
Huddersfield Town last week had a £500,000 bid rejected for the former Reading player, whilst Spurs, Fulham, Sheffield United and Barnsley are all thought to be considering a move for the 21-year-old.
Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson stated this month that while he is not looking to sell Cox, every player has a price. The Swindon board are thought to value the club's top scorer at £1million.
The League One hotshot, meanwhile, has rejected a contract extension at the County Ground.
A spokesperson for Touchline Soccer, who represent Cox, said: "Simon has 18 months remaining on his current deal so there is no urgency to extend his contract. He wants to concentrate on continuing to play well and adding to his impressive goal tally. Let's reassess the situation at the end of the season, and we'll go from there."

Snowball What I'm doing is perfectly reasonable. I am basing my opinions on educated observations.
How come that some listers, using the same process can say Harpur is crap?
How come that some listers, using the same process can say Harpur is vital, the man who makes the team play?
How come that some listers, using the same process can say S Hunt is crap, especially in open play?
How come that some listers, using the same process can say S Hunt is the club's most important player and vital to our success?
Basing my opinions on having seen every home game plus away to Cardiff, Wolves and Brum,
and having watched highlights of other games etc on the site, and using my twenty years as a
player, and using my 5 years managing adults and God knows how many for kids, MY educated
observations are that Kebe is vastly under-rated and is more of a match-winner than Hunt.
The point is, these are just opinions, educated or not.
The difference is I produce actual evidence to support my case, you merely repeat your opinions.
Last season, all around me in the stand all I heard was that Bikey was total crap, a joke.
Now he's a very important player.

Snowball What's your other username Snowball? You seem to be able to hit all the right buttons when it comes to winding HNA? users up.
Well that's not hard.
All you have to do is be accurate and logical
and 99% of football fans will go ballistic.

Woodcote Royal Having delivered more cold hard facts in just a few days than many on here could produce in a life time, the need for those who prefer to moderate the kind of bilge that has driven many away to undermine such a contributor, was, sadly, all too predictable.
