No one was more disappointed than me on Saturday but a bit of positivity does no harm and the fact is that three wins or even a draw/win and a win and we are up.

The season is not over until the last kick so come on URZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Three draws and we could go up. I would enjoy that, we'd officially be one of the least deserving promoted sides ever. It would very satisfying in a peverse way.

I was thinking this myself. Coupled with the indigation of Royalee and the like it would make it an almost perfect promotion season.

But don't we need to treat all the matches as cup finals in order to ensure success?

So if both teams at Wembley treat it as a cup final they can 'ensure' success??? Can 4 go up this season

If the team treat the games as cup finals they won't turn up, expecting to have been knocked out 3 or 4 rounds ago.

Well we treated our last 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 league games as cup finals last season and didn't get relegated, so I don't see why not.

I say we treat the next three games like they are first round games against lowly opposition. That way we will be confident of success...

Burnley 1 Reading 1
Reading 0 Burnley 0

Reading win 4-3 on pens

Reading 1 Preston 1

Reading win 4-3 on pens.

We go up without winning another game of football

ahh. see i did think of that. but i assumed that winning on penalties was exactly the same as winning a game.

clearly my mistake.

Ian Royal If the team treat the games as cup finals they won't turn up, expecting to have been knocked out 3 or 4 rounds ago.

And SC wil put out the reserve team. "All the players are members of the squad".
