How many out of contract players we have this summer apart from Pearce?..I can see there being problems getting the dead wood out of the door.

I can't see McCarthy still being here after the summer, much better prospect than Feds.

Out of contracts are apparently:

Stuart Taylor
Alex Pearce
Ian Harte
Noel Hunt
Simon Church

Would keep Pearce and Church for the Championship, maybe Taylor too.

Might be tempted to keep Roberts if he can get back fit - possibly Shorey.

The championship has been very poor this season - most of the sides are mediocre - there is only a dozen or so points between relegation and 7th place and at least 2 of the playoff places could be secured by less than 70 points.

Most of the so called big sides have no money to invest so if we make a go of it in the summer I'd still fancy us to be near the top.

They should all go, frankly. And take the Turk with them.

Plus
Shorey - although we may have an optin to extend.
Roberts - (I'm pretty sure) although he may as well have retired already.

I'd keep Pearce if I could, Hunt if either ALF or Pog goes because we've got enough of a problem upfront anyway and maybe Shorey and Taylor depending on what happens with signing a decent left back / converting Kelly or Cummings and with Federici and McCarthy.

Shorey? So you didn't see him against Arsenal? The answer has something to do with Harte being on the bench today and Shorey sitting in the pub watching it on TV.

(Actually, he probably couldn't be arsed to even watch it).

And out of that list above, I think they'll all go.

McCarthy

Kelly/Gunter Marriappa New Signing Gunter/Kelly

McCleary Guthrie New Signing Robson-Kanu

Le Fondre New Signing/Pog

This would be a very solid squad in the Championship...New Signing Suggestions?? Maybe George Boyd, Jasmin Kurtic, Billy Sharp

Just signing a player like Nathan Redmond would make a massive difference to this team.

I agree, one quality player like a Redmond or an Ince or a Vydra ( Although unlikely ) could change our season, I also forget to mention Akpan, and also Carrico ( whatever the latest is with him) in my team

Can't see him going anywhere other than the PL.
