RG30 What has Samuelson done to earn his money?

Found Zingarevich and persuaded Madejski to do the deal with him!

In that case he's done OK, we got a Championship title and a season in the Prem as a result.

Z175 Of course it's absurd, Samuelson lives in Switzerland! Its only a few hours work a year and when here do you think these two do anything other than plot ways of rinsing the club? It's as much as some players in our league earn! Hard to know how true it is but it was always obvious someone of the ilk of Samuelson was trouble. I don't know how people like that sleep at night, spending your life chasing murky dodgy money. Definitely the Israeli guy sounds like more of the same if he's happy with the them, I'm right behind Burman now!

Samuelson has a flat in Reading and is at the stadium most days.

If (as reported) he is resident in Switzerland he cannot be in the UK for more than 183 days in any tax year so whilst he may a flat to stay in on visits he cannot be at the stadium "most days"

Neither Samuelson or Oblensky cares two hoots about Reading Football Club. The sooner the two of them leave, the better.

I'm behind Burman... shame its not mid season so we can express our support for who we want

183 days is more than half a calendar year, and about 75% of a work year.

Although who carries !!

I'm currently weighing up my decision on whether to plump for Sagi or Burman.
Does anybody know when the club will be holding the vote?

Not quite. Samuelson has worked with the Zingarevich family for a long time.

So, say no-one would agree to CS and AO's "demands" for want of a better word and they can't sell TSI share and SJM can't sell his - how do we get the money from AZ that is owed for his share of the debt? If we can't get a new buyer because they won't agree to keep those two on, then CS and AO are effectively signing the death warrant for RFC - or at least RFC as we currently know it. Rotten to the core. :x

They're not going to let RFC go bust. But they are going to try and get the best deal for themselves out of any sale. It's just one massive power struggle right now.

It would appear that Samualson is TSI's man in charge and possibly has quite an impact on the running of the club. Driving us towards buy a new training ground, attaining Cat 1 status, getting Adkins in as manager and all sorts of stuff behind the scenes (potentially). Leaders who make these things happen tend to cost a fair bit in most industries. Madejski did it as Chairman and Owner under different motivations but I'm not sure it's as cut and dried as calling them out as shysters just for taking a salary as Directors (they may also be shysters as well of course!).

Are they going to put some of their own money in then? Bollox are they not going to let us go bust - what can they do about it, ask AZ to pay the debt? :|
