Simon's Church Didn't get a shot on target last game so:

Adam
Jobi Alex Casper Hal
Jake Brian Jordan
Noel Mathieu Adam

Winning team for sure.

If you're going to show off by using their first names - you might want to spell Kaspars correctly and put Joseph Mills in rather than Jake.

Morrison is not a bad shout but if you are going to play Howard, why have him so deep? Why not just give him a free role behind the striker?

Well, it IS Kaspars not Casper for a start. And why the hell would you put Jake Taylor in rather than poor ickle Joe. He's done nothing wrong yet.

No way will Feds be dropped! Why should he be? Until he makes a mahusive clanger he's an ever-present in the team I reckon.

TBH, if I were Brian, I'd play the same team as last week and tell them they're in the last chance saloon - if they don't start at least LOOKING like they're bothered - they're out - then I'd ship any non-performers out on loan or drop them completely - it pains me to say it, but that includes YOU Mr Kebe.

Could it be that Joe is left sided and Jake more right sided?

Really, you don't do yourself any favour at all.

Firstly you leap in completely missing Leww's point about Obita being missing from urz13's u18s team.

Then for some reason you leap in thinking that Joseph Mills should be playing right midfield, despite primarily being a left back, rather than playing Jake Taylor. The other Mills we have is Jack in case that's where you're confusion came from, and he's a centreback iirc, by the way.

Interesting to see so many different formations and first 11 combinations. It pretty much shows that there is no consensus on what Brian should do, so he's going to get a pasting whatever he does, unless it pays off. Even if he picks the best team and tactics possible.

Don`t be too hard on yourself Mrs May. Home Secretaries have always made mistakes, even among the best of them such as Willie Whitelaw.
Didn`t Margaret Thatcher say that every good Prime Minister needed a Willie?

The 1 thing for sure is the only player who looks like he's playing with any kind of confidence and looks like he's gonna score is Robson-Kanu. Is it too early to drop McAnuff as captain? I don't think McDermott will drop him thus I would advocate the unpopular choice of dropping Kebe for a few games.

Le Fondre and Manset both look like players who will be very good at this level to me but they are both players who need decent service, which is what is lacking with a 4-4-2 (with 2 defensive midfielders). Should Howard come in? Not if he performs like he did against Charlton. But he is a much better player in a 3-man central midfield as it gives him the freedom to roam around a bit more. But then I don't think any of our strikers can play up top on their own. The only one who's positioning and running into space can work as a lone striker is Church and his confidence is low.

But here would be my team for sat:

McCarthy

Cummings
Mills
Gorkss
Pearce

Robson-Kanu (Left)
McAnuff (Right)
Jem
Legs

Le Fondre
Manset

Here for the KEBE I don't think any of our strikers can play up top on their own. The only one who's positioning and running into space can work as a lone striker is Church and his confidence is low.

Scoring twice for the reserves in the week means his confidence levels will have received a boost, so of all our strikers (barring ALF who's only been here for one game) he's probably more mentally up for it.

------------------------------------Feds
-
-Cummings-----------Gorkks-----------Khumalo---------------Harte
-
----------------Legs------------------------------Karacan
-
-Kebe---------------------------HRK-----------------------------McAnuff
-
---------------------------------ALF

If Harte is fit he's got to play - we need the set pieces. Need Cummings and Khumalo's pace. Need creativity in middle so either HRK or McAnuff is going to have to make it work. Need confidence in midfield, pass the ball about, and pace in attack (Kebe, HRK, McAnuff) to create chances in the box.

Its all about performance management - these players are good enough but just like Coppell in 2008/09 McD faces apathy and underperformance across the board - like any good manager he has to raise confidence and morale.
