Who made the pass to Le Fondre yesterday (excellent chase down BTW)
that eventually led to the third goal?

I thought Harte only had three assists? Leicester and the two at Ipswich.

John Madejski's Wallet :| :|

err IR is correct, Harte took very few of our pens last year

:| :|

Still scored 4 from the spot though. That's more than a third of his goals.

Oh. More than I thought. But still, the point stands, seeing as 4 out of 11 is very far from most. 1, 2 or 4 is just quibbling exact numbers.

What on earth has that got to do with how many of Harte's goals were penalties? For the record I saw abut 30 of our games live or on the screen last season.

I quoted in error as I said - it was just a general question. It is just that to have strong views on things like Mills v Harte, it is of course a pre-requisite to see them play in a fair few games.

superb delivery, nice to see really good corners(although he was as guily of wasting them as anyone earlier in the season/last year)

but it did look like at least one of their goals came from his chronic lack of pace meaning a CB was dragged out to cover him, and he didnt get back into the middle in time to stop their shot.

the bloke has some real quality tbf, i just wish he didnt play somewhere that pace is so important.

5 at the back with 3 CBs anyone?

drop kebe and mcanuff!

Don't know is the confident answer.

I just checked the OS which had Harte on 2 assists before yesterday's game

Presuming Gylfi is just a pipe-dream, I'd play Millsay

I'd bring Harte in as the most defensive DM
sitting in there with Elwood and Karacan instructed to attack more

Either play one up or drop a winger

Fair enough... I'm being a saddo and keeping a spreadsheet again. I've only got him down as three, so I guess I may not have counted one because of a deflection or defensive touch.

I think Elwood would make a BRILLIANT attacking (ball-winning midfielder

This is correct, well anticipated and a good ball forward to ALF.

It was a great ball from Alf as well - good control from Hunt and finish. Good, clinical play all round.

Ball didn't come into him at a comfortable height and dropped awkwardly off his thigh, so good finish to put it away so calmly.

Having just watched the highlights Harte looked to be the player who lost is man for their first, although I still think Feds had either come all the way or not come at all it may well not have been a goal. Harte looked to be beaten a couple of other times in open play as well. Super dipping, accurate set pieces from him though, and a good block at one point too.

Having said earlier that I thought McAnuff had got across well to try and put off the scorer for their second, I've now noticed he was probably playing in the middle by that point so was at fault for not being nearer to the man lurking around the edge of the box in the first place. Legs out wide right as well who could have been there, if he wasn't (presumably) covering Kebe who I can't recall seeing in the picture.

Had some other very good efforts as well. Two from Hunt and one from Church, where on another time it could have gone in. Then again Chopra could have scored on another day and their freekick was well saved by Fed (not sure about his positioning again though).

Harte left back - Mills left mid - McAnuff right mid
