Seen Fulham fans claiming Fulham have offered Pavel Pogrebnyak £25k a week, and then they noted that we matched Swansea's £35k a week offer for Sigurdsson, and they think if we are in talks then we are very much the favourites.

He's on his way home early after going out of the Euro's tonight.

i wont believe it until i see it though. he would be a real catch for us. this story has put a few fulham noses out of place -- "why would he choose reading over us?" -- "they're going down next season, it makes no sense"..... bless 'em. it would be a surprise though but then it's not a surprise is it, money talks. if you offer 20k and someone else offers 30k for example, where you gunna go?? villa are also keen and they could spoil this for us.

side note: fulham's andy johnson is also a target of ours and has entered talks with qpr. fulham are gunna be buggered for forwards soon. they may also lose clint dempsey.

If he comes into our club carrying on from his form at Fulham, we are potentially looking at something of a Demba Ba class signing.

If he comes into our club and slumps back to his form at Stuttgart, we might as well sign Heskey on a free transfer now.

I really liked the look of him at Fulham last season. Big, strong, athletic, quite pacey, pretty decent on the ball and scored a few nicely taken goals from what I remember.

Would he be able to reproduce that here? No idea, we certainly haven't got some of the quality that Fulham had during that run, but I'd certainly like to see him here.

The Meltdown is still on the cards but I am not going to divulge anything my sources have advised me as the people on here seem to be of the opinion that I was on the windup.. So I will let them believe that and carry on in the knowledge that this is going to be an exciting summer
