its been years, and this season is the first where he has really looked like hes fulfilled that potential.

No it isn't. He's been excellent for Millwall for two seasons before this. Look at his assist record. It's comparable to McAnuff's in a far inferior side. Mind you, didn't you say that Church was better than Cox when West Brom got promoted?

I know I have something of a reputation for being a Henry fanboy, but genuinely, Henry is a very good player. Not as good as Kebe mind, but if he'd been our third choice winger last season things would have been a lot less hairy when Kebe was out of the side.

I rate HRK and Karacan, and they made important contributions last season and before that, but they're not going to take us forward. They might have roles to play this season and indeed in the future, but they're not players we should be building the team around. Pearce and McCarthy, yes.

That's all well and good SCIAG, but Henry left because he wanted to play, so he wasn't happy to be here as cover for Kebe. And as you say, he's not as good as Kebe.

i never said henry isnt a good player, or cox
just that rather than have them sat on the bench, or in the reserves for four years, the moves were exactly right for both players, and the club
