Royal Yank Also happy with the performance.

Sonko seems much sharper than when he last started.

The formation seems to be stifling Arsenal, and yet we have managed to still carve out a couple of half chances.

It all your fault

When you set your team up like this your only asking for trouble.

We got away with it against United on the opening day because they missed a hatful of chances.

I'd much rather we tried to actually play football against Arsenal, they'rr just going to pick us off at will with this team.

It hardly matters, but it must be difficult for players to switch and from a team trying to win a game and play football and a collection of players just lining up for a training session for the Arsenal players.

This is exactly why I walked out of the home game with 20 minutes left.

Tell me,

aside from the first game of the season, have we ever got a point from a game where Coppell has fiddled with the formation and gone 1 up front?

All is not lost - get 2 Arsenal players sent off, a couple of dodgy penalties and...

Yeah, we'd still lose.

Given the accuracy and strength of my last prediction/comment, I will now predict a series of crap opportunities for Dave Kitson.

Poor old Rosenior, right footed player struggling to complete any passes when played on the left.

Southbank Old Boy When you set your team up like this your only asking for trouble.

You're right, how Pardew took us to a play-off semi having played 4-5-1 most weeks is puzzling....

Embarrasing!

I usually go to the games and prolly get caught up in the atmosphere (i.e bit pissed). Do we alaways play so badly?

Pardew played that formation week in, week out and he had the players to play it.

Coppell is playing 5-4-1 with players who aren't suited to it and don't play it on a regular basis.

If your going to defend the system and the players at least get some idea of whats going on you plum.

75-25% possession in favour of Arsenal.
Maybe we could get single figures by full time.

I know we are 2-0 down, but I still live in hope and firmly believe we can still get something from this game.....like a corner of throw in in an adavnced positon. Failing that, to string a couple of passes together. Woudl certainly be an imporvement on the Fulhams game.

I seem to remember they did that to Man U last week in the first half , 75-25 I mean.
