Probably Wolves for me, they seem to have stopped throwing money at the problem and have a very useful squad with some damn impressive attacking options. Never forget that in 2005/066 Sheffield United started like a train, and it wasn't until we beat them on 1st October (after 12 matches) that we went top, above them. In the end we finished 16 points ahead of them.

You are spot on. We went top on 22nd November after beating Ipswich 3-0 away having played 20 games and we were never overtaken again.
On the other hand if you want to be really picky we were top after 4 games!

Possibly Birmingham. Have only just noticed that they are at the Madjeski in the final game of the season. I can just imagine the scenario that the winner of that game, or Brum if it's a draw, will take the second automatic promotion spot behind Wolves.
