We need 53 points (no team has been relegated from the Championship in the last 9 years with 53 points. Leicester City went down with 52 points.

It doesn't help at all.

We need one more point (or one more goal) than the team in 22nd place. You cannot state any more than that. Leicester would have looked at 'history' and said they need 52 points because no one had been relegated on that number. I bet they had a shock.....

We have been relegated on 53 points before way back in 1983..although that was in the old third division.

I see that Mr. Warnock is at his magnanimous best after losing: "They were conning fouls.......Educate the ref....."

Warnock is/was/always has been an O*ford disgrace - how dare he say we were 'conning' fouls - we just don't do that and he really should be hauled up before the FA for that - oh I forgot he already has for his comments the previous week!

We don't cheat - you were beaten by a better team Colin!

Interestingly, he came across as quite decent over the weekend, shame he had to open his goband spoil it!

Typical reaction. Colin failed to notice the roughing up of several Royals players, the blocking off of Feds for their goal. TBF virtually every manager has a myopic view of their teams performance.

So saying that - he's a graceless goshyte when near a football field - the managerial equivalent of Carig Bellamy.

I think you'll find that was four clubs relegated, so the number of points to survive would naturally be higher.

Going back into London on the train, the concensus from the Palace fans around me was that they were totally outplayed and lucky to get away with only losing by 2.
