P!ssed Off3points Will Murray still want to stay come January? Given the goals he's scoring, I'm sure another team would snap him up if he's still surplus to requirements at Palace
The 'goals' he's scoring?
He's scored 3 in his last 8 starts.
One a massive deflection, one a massive goalkeeping error, and one a tap-in from 1 yard out.
Apart from those three goals the only thing he's done of note, in his last 8 starts, is miss a penalty.
Will they be queuing up come January? not on current form/wages.

Those are exactly the kind of goals we need to be clocking up though and it doesn't really matter how he's scoring it's good that he's just got the knack of doing it.
What we need to do is getting the likes of Obita, MacLeary and Gunter getting a constant stream of quality balls into the box for Murray to feed off.

P!ssed Off No. I excluded his debut double against Fulham because since then he hasn't looked like replicating it and has often looked poor. .
P!ssed Off Murray has 5 goals from 758 minutes. This appears to be much better than Cox's 5 goals in 1036 minutes.
Except Cox has got the majority of his goals playing from a deeper position, without the help of luck and whilst taking less shots. He also contributes effort and determination to the team, something that Murray lacks.
P!ssed Off His efficiency is poor. Whilst 5 goals in 758 minutes seems a good record, 5 goals from 35 shots (1 goal per 7 shots) is not a good record..
P!ssed Off And his wages are reportedly £25,000 per week. Like I said, if his post-debut form continues, very few clubs will be queuing to sign him up come January.

REALLY!!? That's the point. He's not afraid to shoot nor try and win a match. I know this makes him like a lot of other footballers, but I suppose when you've had Pogrebnyak for two years, you forget about those sort of attributes in a player

5 goals in 9 starts is quite a good record. 3 goals in the last 8 starts is not quite as good.

Total Shots; On Target; Off Target

Cox: 21; 10; 7

No shit, 3 in 8 is less good than 5 in 9. Well I never.
It's still actually better than the reasonable benchmark for a striker of 1 in 3.
I think you're barking mad. Other teams would be happy to pick up a proven goalscorer who's showing that after a long injury lay off he's still capable of scoring plenty of goals in a struggling team.

mambo3 Dom Samuel has a better goal average then all of them and plays against the same players who the 1st Team have played thru the season and will never play for NA it seems. His wages is probably less 2% of his weekly wage

Royalwaster Anyone got the statistics on Adam Le Fondre to compare with Murray - as many on here still regard ALF as the most proven goal-scorer we've ever had?
