Lighten up ffs

I think he's implying we will improve and start seeing out games better?

I read it as we won't keep that form up and eventually we're going to blow a lead.

That's correct (and surely inevitable). Your reaction that I need to lighten up in what is a pretty positive post talking about how great our record is when taking the lead, is bizarre.

Which to me didn't really answer the question. Do you think we'll oxf*rd up soon or get better?

People call us lucky and there's Brighton getting an absolute last minute winner, bloody hell.

Yep, unbelievably positive assertion that we're likely going to blow our good record soon.

Which part of 'that's correct' was it you didn't understand?

It's inevitable that we aren't going to continue to win every game (bar Brighton) we take a 1st half lead. It's not about oxf*rd up. It's also been getting more fragile, with a late flurry from Brizzle, and needing an injury time winner today. The fact is though, that regardless of whether we fail at the next attempt, later, or much later... the run is already an extremely impressive 9 wins 1 draw, 0 losses.

Now you've got to expect a good record when you take the lead, but 90% converted to victory and no losses is great.

We could, of course, do with improving our record when we concede first. We're a bit of a first goal wins team.

is all.

We're going to piss on Brighton's chips this season, I can feel it.

Think we'd have to have an amazing January of transfer activity or they'd have to have Knockaert crocked for the rest of the season to manage that. But certainly would be behind that sentiment.

To come out and say it literally when the final whistle blew came across as negative. Hence "lighten up".

Just enjoy the win, no need to analyse everything. We're 3rd at Christmas and nobody expected that, enjoy the ride I'd say.

Looking at the highlights, was the throw in that led to our winning goal a foul throw? Looks to me like Gunter (if that's who it was ) had one foot way up in the air when he threw the ball in.

It wasn't you hypercritical knob. Can you even see properly, or has your constant moaning affected your eyesight now?

Are you that Brighton fan they sent to HNA?

PMSL at that complete over reaction to a perfectly reasonable question :D FWIW I think that was a fantastic win at a difficult place to visit, albeit we played them at a good time with them having four centre half's out. Still it sounded like a much improved performance and with Swift and Williams returning and the January transfer window opening I'm now hoping we can push on in the New Year.

Definite foul throw.
I guess that means we can really only count that as a draw and 1 point. Drops us a couple of places in the table.
Bit of a reality check....

Well if it was it made up for the non corner Blackburn got and we'll have a 2-1 win instead. Bit of an unreality check.

+1.

Hint of a dive about Samuel's penalty against Bristol City too. Changed the flow of the game so you can chalk off the other goal too, so that's a draw and a point as well.

Table is starting to look more realistic now.
