[quote="Abbo"]Disregarding the draws he has predicted, I will be have a nickle or two on the reverse outcomes to the ones he has predicted.

Trebles on:

Boro 2/1
Wigan 9/2
Reading 2/1
Man City 11/4
Fulham 5/1
Newcastle 13/5
Arsenal 10/3

Lawro, stupid mug :roll:quote]

Well, of those seven games he got one right (Blackburn vs Man City).

I had a 45/1 treble there. Plus three draws, one of those would have meant major £.[/

cmonurz Why the criticism of someone because he predicts a Reading loss?

Because Lawrenson seems to be completely ignorant. If you look at the past history, it's not always likely that Reading will lose. Just look at these:

2005/2006
Football League Championship Sheffield United 1-1 Reading 14-02-2006
English League Cup Reading 2-0 Sheffield United 25-10-2005
Football League Championship Reading 2-1 Sheffield United 01-10-2005
2004/2005
Football League Championship Reading 0-0 Sheffield United 02-04-2005
Football League Championship Sheffield United 0-1 Reading 14-08-2004
2003/2004
Football League Championship Reading 2-1 Sheffield United 28-02-2004
Football League Championship Sheffield United 1-2 Reading 24-10-2003
2002/2003
Football League Championship Sheffield United 1-3 Reading 18-02-2003
Football League Championship Reading 0-2 Sheffield United 14-12-2002

So, it looks like Sheff Utd have not beaten us since December 2002. So, past history suggests that we might get something from Brammell Lane.

I was proven right and Lawrenson was wrong!
