Agreed, realised “1st gear” is enough as can get away with playing within themselves but you can only play what’s put in front of you and, thankfully, Northampton are really not in the best of form. Should therefore be reasonably “fresh” for the visit of a thoroughly decent Mansfield on Sunday (not on tv).
