Snowflake Royal Seems a bit harsh

Since when has kicking the ball away been a red card?

iirc, it's at least a yellow.

Maybe he kicked the ball away in a sarcastic manner.

He barely even kicked it away. Just let it hit his foot.

Well no reason it should be the same for staff on the sidelines as players on the pitch.

Could quite easily have been a rule for a couple of years and never come up in one of our games.

Selles got done for it in an away game. No-one knew the rule then either.

Good managers like Moore change things when they arent working.

He's nullified what we were doing so well first half.

Elliott off finally. Not sure why the prize winner at left back is still on.

Not quite sure how rule 3.1 (which is what Selles was done under) has to do with kicking the ball away. Was NH behaving improperly towards the officials before kicking the ball away?

FA Rule E3.1 states:

"A Participant shall at all times act in the best interests of the game and shall not act in any manner which is improper or brings the game into disrepute or use any one, or a combination of, violent conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour."

Key Elements of Rule E3.1

Best Interests of the Game: Participants must prioritize the integrity and reputation of football in all their actions.
Improper Conduct: Any behavior that is deemed improper or that could damage the game's reputation is prohibited.
Types of Misconduct: The rule explicitly mentions various forms of misconduct, including:
Violent Conduct: Any physical aggression towards others.
Serious Foul Play: Actions that are dangerous or reckless during play.
Threatening, Abusive, Indecent, or Insulting Words or Behavior: This includes any form of verbal abuse or inappropriate comments.

I'm trying to work out what you're disagreeing with Sutekh

Did Selles get sent off vs Lincoln - yes
Was it for kicking the ball away - yes
Did he subsequently get fined for it - yes
