You want Antonio to start ahead of Kebe or McAnuff? That would be crazy.

It's all about opinion, I've seen plenty I like in HRK. And I don't see anything inconsistent in what I've said about him. In his technique he is much more polished than Antonio, his decision making for the final ball is letting him down, but it is decision making. He clearly knows what he's trying to do. I don't think that's always the case for Antonio.

When HRK does make the right decision and get a ball into the box IMO it's often a very good one. And I completely disagree that he doesn't run at players and take them on. Every game I've seen him play in he's done that.

Each offers different things. I can understand why some people think Antonio should be ahead of HRK, it's fairly close run and probably depends on what characteristics are more important to you. Ultimately I think we favour organisation quite highly and HRK beats Antonio there.

McDermott seems to have a similar conclusion to me, so whilst I dont think he is always right, I'll go with that over you.

I want Antonio to be ahead of Robson Kanu in the pecking order, that would be a start, and yes Antonio would be a great start for Norwich by pushing Mcanuff in the middle, Antonio out wide, and either one of Tabb or Karacan, job done.

I was dead against McAnuff in the middle after Swansea (H), but he's been very good since then (which was the Sig role). I'd rather not play him out of position if we don't have to so I don't think I'd go with that. Though I'm really not enthused about seeing Tabb & Karacan play central midfield together again. Which I guess means Gun, Howard (my preference) or I suppose McAnuff in there.

I'll say it again, HRK was woeful against Stevenage. You were obviously there Ian, you can't tell me he played a blinder.

I'll say it again for you. The entire team were poor and its just one game.

Repeating someone was woeful in one game, is not an argument.

A few were good at Stevenage a few were very poor, Robson Kanu was one of them. Antonio was a shining light when he came on.

Not really - he started well but didn't do much with an end product. Church was pretty woeful, bar a couple of decent shots.

Church was also out of position though. A midfielder he is not.

Although I'd probably agree, it is a position he's played a lot of his football in though.

The rumour I heard was Antonio had been dropped as he turned up pissed at training, so based on that HRK will get the nod.

HRK didn't look very good last night, TBF. He seems very predictable these days, no tricks.

There was a moment where he tired to do Dunn and failed totally. ATM he just doesn't look like a championship player.

Ditto Church

I WANT them both to be BRILLIANT championship players, for Church to get a dozen goals
partnering Shane in the next 17 games and HRK to chip in with another half-dozen. But
ATM they both looks so ORDINARY.

We can only hope one or both of them gets some luck, scores a couple
and gets the confidence back, because ATM, really they are passengers.

I can't understand all the HRK bashing. Have people thought that he is probably ahead of Antonio as he is left footed and we don't have much in the way of attacking left footers. If Antonio played as many games as HRK people would probably be moaning about him. Wingers are inconsistent, especially at this level.

I think people would change their minds if Antonio was given a couple of starts. He strikes me as being preferred because he's the less known quantity and it's not that people think he's particularly good, but that they think HRK is poor.

He's got strength, pace and skill. But he's really unpolished I don't think he knows the whole job as well as HRK. Yes I wouldn't be surprised if he creates a couple of things out of not a lot each game, but I still think HRK is the safer bet and those couple of extra things aren't worth it. Decent impact sub though

And there is no way he's in Kebe or McAnuff's league, but I don't think anyone is stupid enough to suggest he is.

I don't want to "bash" Simon Church or HRK.

It doesn't look like "inconsistency" it looks like lack of ability (ATM)

Put it this way, when either come on to the pitch does your
heart lift with expectation or does your pulse DROP?

Both the raw Manset and Antonio at least give us HOPE
