From Despair To Where?
Millsy For some reason scanning through the team board I read this as Squid Watch just now.

Therefore I'd like to humbly suggest this thread is only about squids from now on.

Alternatively, carry on as you were.

Fcuking keep up, Millsy. I did that joke on Page 15.

You and Millsy have the same sense of humour

Took about 30 seconds.

I thought Hutchinson would be announced today. It now looks as if Derby are signing Kemar Roofe. I guess they’ll always attract decent players even in league 1.

Roofe would be a real coup. Not sure what wage parameters they have though. Presumably it will be on loan.

Yeah it’ll be a loan deal. Any more rumours about players we’re linked with?

Wtf? Surely he's far too good for League One.

Agree and I would have said the same about Korey Smith and Hourihane.

Smith was released by a poor champ side. Hourihane hasn’t been particularly good for a couple of years and wasn’t getting into the sheff utd side half the time last year.

Not bad players but can’t see them bossing the league with them

Was a bit of something about us still being after Fulton on Twitter but not seen anything else

Is Fulton more of a creative midfielder like Swift or does he play a more defensive role? I don’t really know too much about him tbh. He seemed to be very popular at Swansea a year or 2 ago but now surplus to requirements.

Yeah, was Alan Nixon. Seemed to suggest there is positive movement. With Joe Allen having moved back there now imagine Fulton is even further down the Swansea pecking order.

Just have a sneaky feeling something may happen there.

Roofe would be a crazy L1 signing, he's hardly played since April but surprised no Champ team has looked at a loan.

More defensive minded than creative. Decent on the ball in deeper areas and can protect possession well whist winning the ball back well also. Our midfield does lack creativity at the moment and we could certainly use someone in that department, or even a set piece taker of good quality so we can be threatening from that area, we don't really have someone who can give us an extra lift from those situations.

Am I right in thinking that if we exclude Moore and Puscas we have 16 first team players?

My wish list based on players we’ve been linked to, on trial and comments on here are Hutchinson, BOO (once injury free), Fulton, Guinness-Walker (next Shorey), Omari Hutchinson and Troy Parrot (purely based on nephew’s comments who is an MK Dons STH).
