glass half full Looking at the statistics - just eleven fouls, no yellow or red cards (unusual in recent history of games between Ipswich and Reading), I am inclined to believe that it was a relatively easy match for Mr. Ilderton to handle. Would I be right?

Yes, pretty much, very subdued both on the pitch and in the stands up until the last quarter. No real needle, but I think he was one of those refs who doesn't like handing out cards. Maybe different on another day but thought he was very good in general.

gazzer, loyal royal The good thing about the ref was he was the same for both times, but Bullard was lucky not to be sent off let alone booked for two pretty cynical fouls on Keble within a matter of seconds of each other.
