Chris Armstrong - 3rd minute Saturday

by TBM » 24 Jan 2013 13:32

Chris Armstrong turned out for Reading F.C despite battling against the effects of Multiple Sclerosis - and this Saturday is a great chance to pay tribute to his efforts. Reading supporters have suggested that in the third minute of the game - both sets of fans rise to show their support for the former Royals and Blades left back, and as a club we fully support the initiative

Can't not do this really can you? Man deserves respect, just for the dignity shown.

This will be a nice gesture. My Mum has MS and will be there, but the ironic thing is that she can't stand up to applaud.

I'm pleased the club still show him the respect he deserves.

If Les Chappell has Alzheimers do we applause him too when we next play Rotherham or Blackburn?

I'll assume that is a serious question. It was his squad number (ala Petrov at Villa in the 19th minute every game)

Most of our fans would have left by the third minute to avoid the traffic and bus queues.
