Doolittle Yes, agree he should get a chance. Find it amazing how random the decision making seems to be, that determines who gets a run of games to prove themselves, and who doesn't.
Was there really any rhyme or reason why players like Fernandez or Hurtado hardly got a sniff last season, whereas (say) Piazon kept getting lots of chances ? If there was, it was hard to spot.
Also, is he really a winger, or more of a wide attacker like Blackman, or even a No. 10. Saw so little of him, I don't even know.

Training and the competition for the particular role the player had will have both played massive parts.
Fernandez didn't get a kick because he covers the same role and position as Norwood who was an ever present and one of our top five performers for sure.
Hurtado struggled with the language from what we've heard and didn't look anything special in his very small cameo time.
It's easy to say players weren't given a chance because we didn't see them play in the first team much... but that's what training is for. They've got to earn their place on the pitch there. And if they're not doing it in training, they're not going to get a chance.

Hurtado isnt the first foreinger to play here ! use a translator, learn the language but don't make excuses ... That cannot be the reason he isn't playing ... we don't know how he trains so we cannot speculate. Results without him have been awful so can't blame him or Alex for the mess ..
