Assuming we stay up next season a lot of big clubs coming up Sheffield Wednesday, Plymouth , Ipswich not like this season Blackpool , Rotherham , Wigan
We will be odds on relegation without major changes !

Hopefully we'll kick off the season without Ince and Rae in the dug out and Bowen will have us moving towards a long term ethos that'll move this club forwards. Ince will guide us down to league one otherwise.

Also don't want Luke Southwood anywhere near being our choice keeper

Plymouth are very much like ourselves.....they've spent many years in the lower league, Plymouth must be around the same size as Reading, Their ground is around the same capacity and the support is fair similar, however, i would say their away following is more impressive than ours especially allowing for there location and distance to most games.

I think the owners and Bowen need to identify a model and style of play and move forward using that template. Be it a Brentford or Bournmouth model of style of play and then implement that brand throughout U21/U23 and first team.

Either get Ince to buy into this brand of football or move on to a manager who will.

We now seem to be building a decent team behind the scenes and get them to bring in the players for this brand of football whether its fast direct football or possession based football, hopefully its not turgid, boring Inceball!!!!!

We need to get the passion and excitement back into our football club to ensure we get supporters back into the stadium.

Don’t care about the style of play so long as it involves getting the ball into the opponents net as often as possible - so quite a change from the un-entertaining slop we currently have.

Well, we were odds on relegation this season

We're guaranteed major changes next season given Lumley, Rahman, Fornah, Hendrick, Loum and Casadei are on loan and at least Moore, Long, Hoilett, Dann, Meite, Joao, Southwood, Dorsett and, I think, Tetek all have contracts expiring, as well as Ejaria and Puscas being unwanted. That's about half our senior squad due to leave.

Obviously can't reveal-suffice to say directly from a player who may or may not have had a few drinks.

Yeah, no names is absolutely fine. But twitter / bloke in pub / youth coach for Bournemouth with connections / RFC academy player have different degrees of reliability, so good to get a rough idea.

Very wrong of Tom to talk like that though.

Although do many of us expect Ince to be here next season anyway? At least for long.

He's never managed anywhere over a year. We go through about one manager a season. The owner is deluded and has poor judgement. We should have the financial constraints removed a bit and Ince was always a bit of a caretaker appointment even when made perm.

There's probably not a safer bet in the world than Paul Ince won't be Reading FC Manager by May 2024.
